Have eaten at Boma and loved it but not sure if my mum will enjoy it as she doesn't like spices of any kind, the other two we haven't tried. I've got to drop one as we've got too many on our list.
I've not eaten there yet but I hear the food at Tusker House is similar in style to Boma (African Themed, fairly spicy).
If you want to avoid spicy food then the Rose & Crown is your best bet, so it's a keeper.
Trust me, if there's anything we brits do well, it's bland food!
(Just a joke, the food there is great)
Of the three, if you want to avoid spicy food, drop Boma. As the other two are traditional TS meals they'd be able to make something special with less hassle I think. Boma being a buffet, tends to be a pain if you want something "off menu" (trust me on this, I'm a diabetic so regularly have to ask for a special dessert.)
That's a tough one because it really depends on where you'll be for the day.
If I had to pick one of those, it would be Boma because it will be the most difficult to get to if you aren't staying at AKL.
But Tusker House is going to be the same kind of food as Boma with the spices, so you may not want to do either. If you want to stay in Animal Kingdom, I would suggest Yak & Yeti...the food is great and it has more of an Asian flare, which your mom may like better.
I would definitely not cancel Tusker House. Boma is my favorite but Tusker is a close second. Foods are similar but Tusker is not nearly as free with the spices. I don't think anyone will have a problem with the way the food is seasoned and the selections are wonderful. Great chicken, beef, pork, salmon and a terrific seafood stew with shrimp, scallops and mussels.
I'd cut TH. I love TH, but it's really similar to the food at Boma, just not quit as good. So I'd go Boma and R and C for the variety. But you can't go wrong with any combination of those 3.
We've eaten dinner at Boma and breakfast at Tusker House. LOVED breakfast at TH. It was wonderful! But, it seems like dinner with those two can be similar, whereas R&C is completely different.
We enjoyed dinner on the patio at R&C on our last trip. It was quite lovely!
