Ok.. we have reservations at Boma on 9/22 at 6:20... how do we get back to Pop afterwards?
Thanks!
Jill

How do these restaurants sound for my family 56, 53, 35, 30, 17, 12, 5, & 3 year old . We were at Disney for the 1st time last December, and did most of the Character meals. Wanted to stick to meals that all would enjoy.
Kona
Boma
Ohanah
50's Prime Time
Le Celliar
Raglan Road
Whispering Canyon
Akershus
Spoodles

I'm thinking your best bet is to go to DTD and transfer there. Although you could get a bus to Epcot, MK or HS and transfer, also.

We had dinner at Boma's on our last trip and were going to try to get back to AK before the busses stopped running to get to our hotel (POR). We asked the AK bus driver if the busses would still be running when he pulled up at AKL. He said they were just shutting down from there but asked us where we were going and to wait a minute. He radio-d the dispatch station and asked if he could make a run to POR before he started his next route. They approved it and we got our own personal bus direct to the hotel. Now that was magical for us!!

Unless there is anywhere else you want to go after dinner, just go out and get on the first bus that pulls up at AKL and then transfer to a Pop bus at whichever park/DTD you get dropped off at.

Your restaurant choices look really good, you should be able to please everyone :goodvibes

the only one i would maybe rethink is akerhus. we were not impressed w/it. lots of interesting choices on the cold buffet that i would really have to think about. spoodles--love it for breakfast!! have a great trip!

Wow! We had almost the exact same situation. Disney sure has some nice bus drivers! ...Or maybe it was the same guy...?

We usually go from Animal Kingdom to Boma for dinner. Afterward, we take the bus to Downtown Disney for a bit (to walk off dinner) and then back to our hotel.

If you have a car the distance is not far at all. If not you can get from your hotel to AK (or any park) and then the bus to AKL. To get back to your resort take the bus from AKL to any park and then get on your resort bus from that park....Or a cab

Thats what I would do. Though after dinner, DAK may be closed

For what its worth, I do not like the Prime Time Cafe

Thanks everyone.. Our Akershus meal is for breakfast, so I think everyone can find something they like, and my little princess gets to visit w/the real princesses :-).

As for 50's Prime Time, I picked it, because the last time we were at Disney the kids really enjoyed Whispering Canyon, so thought they were similar.

We are eligible for Magical Gathering and was disappointed that ALL of the Grand Gathering experiences are booked for our entire week.

That's what we did.

While I have not been with groups as large as yours, we have found it WELL worth it to take a cab back to our resort from Boma. After being full and relaxed, we preferred not to bus hop. One of the taxi vans should hold all in your group.

Last go round we ended up @ the contemporary @ around 11pm-12am. Ended up having to go to Downtown and then back to the hotel. A little hassle but all in all fun.
