Boma-PS?

We are staying at AKL from Mar. 29th to April. 3rd.
We want to eat at Boma one night but not sure which night. Will we be able to get in without PS? It is spring break. Do we have any advantage staying at the hotel or will it be impossible?
I have a hard time planning where I am going to be when.

If you wait you can usually get PS's if you call the morning you decide you want to eat there.
I don;t think staying at AKL is any help but it is an out of the way hotel, so I don't think you will have more than an hour wait.

Enjoy Boma! It's one of our favorite restaurants.

If you are trying to go without a ps..I would plan on at least a 45 minute wait, even staying at the AKL resort. Boma is an excellent restaurant, and very popular, no matter what resort people are staying at.

On this past Friday night, there was a nearly hour wait. I would get a PS for a busy week, just in case.

I echo the above. We were there a couple of weeks ago, a supposedly quiet time and the place was packed. So worth it though, its my new favourite.

Hi,
We just returned from WL and I would say yes, do get PS. It was not very crowded last week and we were unable to get the time we wanted at Boma's one night. I would just make several reservations and you could always cancel when you see which night you will go to Boma's. We were able to get PS for another night and the meal was just fabulous. Don't miss this one!

Yes, get a PS. Even if you get it the day you want to dine at Boma -- it'll save a significant amount of time. We have called in the morning and gotten PS's for the evening. The people without PS's had a 60 minute wait; we were in within 10 minutes.

It is one of our must do restaurants for each trip. Enjoy.
