My kids are 16,15,11, and 8. I have an ADR for Boma on Tuesday, but I am wondering if they would like whispering canyon better, What kind of food do they serve at whispering canyon? My kids are a bit wild and crazy, and wonder if they would like the atmosphere better at WCC.

getting excited only 3 days left

Is that Fordham as in Fordham University?

WCC is definitely wild and crazy. Here's their menu:

Other than that, it's two different experiences. One is an African themed buffet, quiet and reserved. The other is a rootin-tootin wild west feeling, with the skillet served family style. The difference is like day and night!

We didn't eat at Boma, but had an awesome time at Whispering Canyon. My boys are a little crazy too (ages 10 & 11) and we ALL had a HOOT!

Im probably one of the few who didnt enjoy Boma. On the other hand, all the family loved Whispering Canyon.

Our family didn't hate Boma, but it was only OK. We won't do it again. However, we have done WCC many times and enjoyed it.

We ate at both in July. Boma's food was way better. WCC was kind of funny, but i really didn't think it was worth the price (not even close). We really disliked the food here. I wouldn't go back there even if I was staying at WL. Boma was fun to try new foods (even though I am picky) and before we ate we checked out the animals.

I would probably disagree with Boma being quiet and reserved, but I definitely preferred it over WCC. Our Boma night had a huge crowd for dinner on the Saturday evening of Labor Day weekend, and was quite loud. That being said, I loved all of the choices and will definitely return on our next visit.

I would choose WWC!...we have NEVER had a bad meal or a bad time at WCC!

We've eaten at both, and Boma wasn't bad at all... but if you're looking for a place with an atmosphere that'll appeal to kids that age, I'd recommend WCC and wait for one of the kids to ask for ketchup. :rolleyes1
