I was thinking on our Animal Kingdom day that we would stay around at supper time and have a TS dinner. My plan is for Flame Tree BBQ for lunch, and then am waivering between Tusker House and Boma for dinner. Do Tusker House dinners only go until closing time at 5? Seems like a bit of a rush! If we do Boma, how hard is it to get back to BC? Would be have to transfer at a park?

Thanks!

I'd go for Boma. Great food, and you get to check out the awesome AKL while you're there. Also, no worries about being rushed at park closing.

Getting back to your resort via Disney transportation will require a transfer at an open theme park or at DTD (if all the parks are closed). If you have to go the DTD route, I'd opt for a cab.

Definately Boma! We like them both, but Boma is definately our pick (well, mine because I can eat as many Zebra Domes as I want!). Afterwards you can stroll around the AKL and see what animals you can spot. We feel that it's much more relaxing than Tusker House. You'll have a great meal no matter which you choose!

Boma!!

It will be fun to check out the AKL and, although I have not tried Tusker House yet, I cannot imagine any buffet being yummier than Boma's! Both of our dinner experiences there have been incredible. We're making a special visit to the AKL just to eat at Boma again during our upcoming stay at the GF!

I always go to Boma for dinner on AK day. You'll have to transfer to get back to your resort. I just go to a park that's open late that night for some eveningn park time before heading back.

I haven't eaten at Tusker House, but I am hoping to get a breakfast ADR for our next trip. Boma dinner is a must do for our family.

Since you are staying at BC, you can transfer at any open park except Epcot (unless you have park hoppers, then you can walk through Epcot and exit at the International Gateway). I'd take a cab before I'd transfer at DTD, although you can do it. DTD buses don't run very often, so you would likely have to wait at AKL for a DTD bus, then wait at DTD for a BC bus.

Boma for dinner if you can only choose one. My husband would say do both and do Tusker for Breakfast not for anything else. He would never choose Tusker House for dinner.
