I know that they have different food but I usually don't eat at resorts (just a pain to get to w/o a car). We will be a party of 7 with 2 dd's 5 and 9, both picky eaters but I know they will find something to eat. What do you think will be more enjoyable for everyone. I've never seen the poly or AKL so I'm sort of torn. The coconut races sound good but I thought maybe the kids would like to see the safari too. Help I can't make anymore decisions :confused3

Just talked to my sister and we both vote for Ohana'a because of the races for the kids and the view of the castle--- also we liked the food. They have a huge snowcone in a beach bucket for the kids. My niece liked this better than the kitchern sink. :teacher:

I would choose Ohana's. We really enjoyed the food there. We didn't think that Boma's was that good.

I'd choose 'Ohana. My kids liked that better than Boma. We didn't care too much for Boma but the zebra dome dessert was good.

Tough choice!

We love both and are eating at both on our upcoming trip. It will be the children's first time at Boma.

I think 'Ohana would be a better choice for the children because there will be more for them to look at inside the restaurant and with the races they will get a chance to stretch their legs while the adults stuff themselves silly. :rotfl:

Boma is wonderful but feels a bit more formal than 'Ohana.

'Ohana - hands down! Plus you can take the monorail to the Polynesian from the MK and then back again, if you choose to.

Just my two cents worth. I too have a very picky eater and we went to both restaurants last week. while at Bomas he found things that he would eat. Mac and Cheese, nuggets, fries and other such plain fare. I paid $24.99at 'Ohana's for him to eat very little. He had some pineapple but not much else. There was nothing on the salad, veggie tray that he would touch. They would bring meat out on large skewers and he didn't like the looks of what they brought so he would not even try it. Since coming home I discovered that they do have an alternative childrens menu, but since my son is 13, I doubt if they would have let him order off of it. If the rest of you are not picky eaters than I would say 'Ohanas would be the best place provided you can get that alternate menu. The rest of us felt that we had the best meal in all of Disney at 'Ohanas. We also enjoyed Bomas but again 'Ohanas was the best for the rest.
