Trying to decide which one we should do. We already are having breakfast at Boma for 1 morning and dinner at Boma twice, but none for Ohana or Chef Mickeys. Never been to any of them before, so I dont know what they are like. Just heard they all got good food. Since we are staying at AKL it would make more sense to just do Boma but still wanna try Ohana or Chef Mickeys. This breakfast would be for a day we went to Epcot. So it would be either go to Boma and then straight to Epcot or leave AKL, go up to MK, take the monorail to Poly or the Contemporary, eat breakfast at Ohana or Chef Mickeys and then take the monorail from Poly or Contemporary to Epcot. So in your opinion is Ohana or Chef Mickeys worth going through all of that just to get to go to for breakfast or should we just do Boma? Also which has better food? Chef Mickeys or Ohana? Cant do it for MK because we are having breakfast at CP and GF Cafe for 2 of the 3 days we are going to MK. So I need one more. Unless I switch out one of the Boma breakfasts for Ohana or Chef Mickeys for the day we went to Epcot.

Well keep in mind 'Ohana and CM are character meals so that adds an entirely different element to the experience. Either is worth doing and would be a nice change if you plan on dining at Boma every morning (which is great - I love the Pressed Coffee)!

Kona has some of the best food to be had at WDW. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all excellent. No matter where we stay, we have at least one meal here. Last year, we even had our family Christmas Eve dinner here! Despite it not being a character meal or even themed for kids, my 3 children LOVE the food at Kona and always request it!!!

CM on the other hand...let's just say we had a not so good experience there for brunch on Christmas morning. We won't be returning to CM any time soon!

I don't know who all is in your party, but have you considered Spoodles for breakfast?

We loved Chef Mickey's. The food is above average for a breakfast buffet, but the interaction from the characters is better than any of the other character dining that we have experienced. The kids had a blast.

We are going to Ohana on this trip for the first time in 11 days and will post our thoughts on it when we return.

I tried to get a ressie for Chef Mickey's for my Sept. trip and couldn't get one! I hear it is fantastic. Best food and best characters. I haven't done the Ohana breakfast but it doesn't look as extensive as some of the other breakfasts. Ohana for dinner though... that is a great experience!

We ended up choosing Cape May Cafe Character Breakfast this time around (never been) because we have a party of 10. It has a beach theme and has some of the classic characters like Minnie and Goofy. And I hear the food is very good, if you look at the menus on allears.net the breakfast menu for Cape May and Chef Mickey's is very similar. We are also staying at AKL but we figure it'll be worth the trip over to Yacht & Beach Club. I love dining at the resort restaurants, mostly because I like to visit all the resorts!!! I love Boma too, we are going to have one dinner and one breakfast there when we go as well as one dinner at Jiko.

I think you should choose a character breakfast based on the characters you want to see. I'm more into the classic Disney characters - Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald than I am Winnie the Pooh or Princesses. I hear Goofy is an outstanding character breakfast character.

On a related note... my most disappointing character breakfast... aboard the Disney Magic. Their character breakfast isn't even on par with the ones held at WDW. The Magic's Character Breakfast felt rushed and the food wasn't that great, a very limited menu.

No matter where you go, you'll have fun.

Enjoy!

I think I might do Ohana for 1 day going to MK instead of chef mickeys and just do Boma twice for breakfast for Epcot. Reason why Ohana is because thats the only place u can see lilo and stitch. All the other characters I can see at meet and greets, plus Im going to donalds, crystal palace (DH LOVES Pooh! LOL), and Liberty Tree Tavern where between donalds and liberty tree I can see the other characters that can be found from Chef Mickey's...Mickey, Doanld, Goofy, Pluto plus an added bonus at Liberty Tree...Minnie, Daisy Duck. And then Crystal Palace Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger.

I enjoyed Ohana's breakfast over the other character breakfasts I have been to ( I did not try CM) but I would also recommend Kona.

We love breakfast at Boma!

It sounds like you have plenty of character meals. Your day would be much calmer to eat at AKL and go straight to Epcot. You could have more of the lifesaving pressed pot coffee, and stay a little less stressed. (I'm not a morning person, so I seriously hate the whole character mob and trying to time my food around character visits in the morning.)

If you change your mind, and want a good sit-down breakfast, try the Kona Cafe at the Poly. Tonga Toast! Pineapple-Macadamia Nut Pancakes! They have pressed pots of Kona coffee.

The Kona Cafe also has great food for lunch and dinner.

Nah we wont be going to Kona. We wanted to do Ohana. Especially me because I love stitch. But we are trying to squeeze in as many character meals as we can because we love them. Their so much fun! DH got hooked on them last time we went to disney and wished we had done more then just 1 character meal. Depending how much we like Ohana, we might do Kohana the following trip after next yrs trip.
