Hello all,

I was just wondering if these two activities are still available. I read about them in the Passporter 2005. If they are can anyone tell me anything about them. Thank you so much

Our kids have done the Junior Chef progam twice and really enjoyed it. In 12/03 our 7yo son and 4 1/2yo daughter did it. In 10/05 our almost 3yo son did it with our 5yo nephew. The program is offered inside the Land in EPCOT. There are 2 adult "chefs" who lead it. It is offered 4 or 5 times a day. The program takes a group of about 15 kids at a time. The kids are all given paper chef hats with their names on them. They all are given jobs to do to help mix up a large bowl of chocolate chip cookie batter. In the end each of the kids get to take home some cookies. When there in October my husband and I were riding Soarin with the 2 older kids when my niece put the younger kids on line for the Junior Chef program. Even though we didn't make it back in time for the older kids to participate they were still given some cookies to take with them. This program is a lot of fun.

My kids are doing the Jr Chef program in Feb. I can let you know how it goes when we get back. The only thing I am worried about is the 4 yo. Sometimes he gets in weird moods and refuses to do stuff you think he would love. If I pay $30 and then he refuses to be left, I will not be happy. I don't mind leaving him mad, but I don't know if they will keep him if he seems like he doesn't want to stay.

Hmmm, reading the above, I am thinking the ones my kids are doing is called something different maybe. The one we are signed up for is at the Grand Floridian and you leave the kids there and they make something. DD has also done the one in the Land and loved it. And hey, it's free, so that is always a good thing!!

Hi!

The Jr. Chef Program at Epcot is free. The kids make these wonderful cookies in the Magic Oven. Yes, this is done daily about 4-5 times a day.

I think you are referring to the The Grand Adventures in Cooking that is held at the GF, unfortunately my kids have not done this....YET! :rotfl:

While our stay at AKL just 20 days ago :teeth: ...my boys made cookies at Boma. You can grab a schedule of activites at the front desk.

Yes, these activities are still available.
