I'm very excited about going to boma, but I was wondering if it's appropriate for my 6 and 7 year olds, is the kid's menu any different than the other restauraunt or buffets?

Children are able to eat the same foods as the parents, they are not excluded from eating the prime rib. But there are your typical children's offerings - mac and cheese, chicken fingers and fries.

They should find plenty of kid-friendly items on both the children's area and the other stations. And the desserts are great for kids -- cookies, zebra domes and other small nibbles that kids will like.

My kids love Boma(we have eaten there many times but last year they were 5& 6) and my oldest is super picky. We have a reservation at Jiko this year but I am really thinking I am changing back to Boma.

We love Boma and I have taken DD since she was 4. I dont know if they still do this but one time at breakfast they picked her as Junior Chef and gave her a little chef outfit and took her back and had her make these choc. covered strawberries. We got a certificate and pictures. It was so much fun. They were making these HUGE cookies and DD made several comments about them so later in the day when we returned to our room there were tons of yummy strawberries and cookies waiting in our room for us!
There is alot of food for kids to eat even if they are picky and the staff there is so nice. You will love it there!
