Boma for Breakfast, what can you tell me about it?

Ate there last week...great breakfast...nice variety of meat selection. Bomu mustard on the ham was yummy. The juice is the same from the Tusker house...which is our fav. Albert one of the servers is the best...he seen our table was "lacking" in service and stepped up and took over. I'd go again in a heartbeat it pleased everyone in our party...even the picky teenager.

Great service, yummy coffee, delicious juice, wonderful selection and real zebras out back!!! My kids aren't breakfast eaters...some fruit and they are good usually. They ate their weight in the sausage at Boma---and they had never eaten sausage anywhere before! They also loved the fruit and the (plain) scrambled eggs. I have to admit I didn't love the chive scrambled eggs (guess I like mine plain) but the African fruit salad was heavenly! And the hot cereals, pastries, all the fruit...it was all just soooo delicious. It definitely went to the top of my list as favorite restaurants and one we will definitely go back to again. Walking out back after breakfast and finding zebras just totally sealed the deal for my DD's!

Boma is a favorite for both breakfast and dinner. Great food and I love dining at AKL. Wonderful variety to choose from. I went there to try several items I had read about on these boards and loved them all. Frunch, scrambled eggs with goat cheese and chives, curried sausage and biscuits, grilled tomatoes. The sausage, bacon, fruit, pastry selection, and pap were all excellent, too.

I am a picky eater, but because of all the great info. on this thread, I have decided to book breakfast at Boma. Now all I have to choose is which day/time would be best.

Believe me, you won't regret it. The food is very good and fresh. The pastries are delicious. If you're a coffee drinker, try the pressed coffee.

Bummer, I guess I'll have to stock up at the Mara.

That's okay, I also have dinner ressies, so if the tray of zebra domes is missing, it'll be at my table.

We ate at Boma for breakfast on our arrival day this year. It was a great way to start our vacation! I recommend getting the pressed pot of Kenyan coffee. It was delicious!!! I believe it's supposed to be extra, but we didn't get charged for it.

I'm not sure if we would go there for breakfast if we weren't staying at AKL, though. We usually just eat breakfast in our room except for character breakfasts, so I really don't know.

This is all great! I am so excited to eat here. I am not a huge breakfast eater, but I do love a good breakfast buffet every once in a while so I booked this for 2 mornings during our stay at AKL!!

I have a question. I have a very bad obsession with the zebra domes, do they serve them at Breakfast as well as dinner?

They dont have the Zebra Domes for Breakfast, only at dinner or at the CS at AKL Yummy Yum!

Boma is so good, and it's a no brainer, must do if you are staying at AKL.

I ate a Boma's my last stay at AKL and will be eating there this visit too! One reason I decided to stay at AKL again was because of Boma's being such a great place to eat, I have Breakfast ressies for every morning except one and one dinner ressies .....can not wait .....the juice is to die for

Sounds silly but we love Boma's not only for the great selection of food and the price but there are no characters. Don't get me wrong, we like to go to character meals, but sometimes you want a nice quiet breakfast and Boma's in wonderful.
