We have heard great things about Boma! Do they have traditional "kid food"? I know my DH would love it, myself too! Book it or skip it??? :confused3

Yep! They have all kinds of yummy stuff including mac n cheese and chicken nuggets :) This is our FAV restaurant!! Make sure to explore AKL while you're there. If it's night time, find the viewing area with the night vision goggles. It's very cool to watch the animals in the dark!

Book it! They do have the "safe" kids food on the buffet as well as the more creative dishes.

DH and I haven't been there in a very long time, but are revisiting it in a few weeks, and very much looking forward to it!

That's good to hear as my oldest DS is very picky but it also looks like there is plenty of fruit etc which my DS would prefer to live on. At 5 he's shaping up to be almost vegetarian, preferring fresh fruits and raw veggies to pretty much anything.

You'll not have any issues, I'm a vegetarian, son well thats a long story, DH eats everything and DD can have a tiny appetite and we had absolutely no issues at BOMA, food is incredible you will absolutely love it.

My kids 15, 10, 7 absolutely love Boma. they have Mac and Cheese and Chicken Tenders for the little ones. On our last trip this july my younger ones got adventurous and sampled alot of different food. Very Good

Thank you, this just convinced me to book an ADR. :thumbsup2

we've been going since the children were very little and they love it - in fact it is unanimously our favourite non-character restaurant at WDW. DDis very very picky but loves the prime rib, chicken tenders, strawberries and other fruit and cookies.

There were some really great options for my kids when we went (they were 4yoand 16mo) and they are both picky.

We all loved it!

Have fun!

Went to Boma on our last trip, and the kids' buffet did not have chicken nuggets or french fries. Instead, they had roasted chicken legs and mashed potatoes. I was SO disappointed, as I myself used to love the nuggets and fries. I guess this is part of making every single meal at WDW "healthy". I asked the chef if they had the nuggets/fries any more and she said "no". They still have the mac and cheese, pasta and meatballs, though. Overall I was not impressed with Boma this time and doubt we will return. The line at the meat pod took 20 minutes to get through. And this was at 4:30! (opening time)

DD loved the original baked chicken and mashed potatoes. DS is picky - we ordered flatbread pizza and fries for him. And you can order chicken nuggets too.

I wish the chef I asked had told me this! I specifically asked if they had chicken nuggets and fries and all she said was "no". She didn't tell me I could order some if I wanted to! I feel totally ripped off!!! Note: I eat all the other adult things, too, I just really wanted some "bad for me" kid food. My kids were fine with the other stuff!

This is good to know. I tried to get my picky family to Boma on our last trip and they vetoed it for a lazy night at POP's food court and arcade.:confused3 I hope I can get them there this November.:goodvibes

You have to request this from your server when placing your drink order and they will bring it to your table -- it didn't take long at all. I thought they would charge us extra but there was no extra charge. :goodvibes
