I was told to try the Boma buffet for dinner one night. Can someone tell me the cost and if it is worth it? I don't know if I want to spend $80+ on dinner for 3. If we did then we would probably do a night or two at that Cici's pizza place:)

I LOVED Boma!! If you like to try new and different things this is the place. We had the best time and ate way to much! I tried things I've never heard of before and you won't ever have them again until your next trip to Disney!

I can't wait until our October trip...this is one place that I will drag my family to again...just for me!! Really different...and you can have a drink ahead of time and then afterwards walk out thru the lobby and check out the animals roaming around and the firepit and rocking chairs...loved it!:thumbsup2

OH MY GOSH, do it! You will love it!

Just so you know, zebra domes rock!

Well, everything is great!!!! It's the best buffet in Disney and worth every penny, and I'm CHEAP.

We love it, too and eat there every trip. The cost is: Adults - $25.99; Children 3-9 - $11.99, soda and tea included - Tax and gratuity additional. They have a lot of variety and the food is so good!!!:goodvibes

We ate there for the first time in Oct, Im a fairly adventurous eater and DH is too, but not quite to my extent and well my 5 yr old... well he is 5 LOL, fairly picky , but will eat veggies and salad. We loved it and my DS ate almost quite a bit. We are looking forward to going back, next time we visit!

We've been hooked on to Boma's the last three visits. I've made a ressie for this upcoming visit too. We lovvveeee Bomas.

Nice to read all the glowing remarks! We have an ADR for Boma on our arrival night and it will be our first time eating there. Looking forward to it!

I'll be honest, I was *really* looking forward to eating there, but when I did, I wasn't as impressed. Maybe I hyped it too much?

I was kind of hoping it would be more spicy. It was bad food, in fact is was yummy, it just wasn't AMAZING. Or at least what I think is amazing.

You will definitely like the food there, it's just not as exotic as I was looking for personally.

Just my $.02

I agree with the poster just above, Boma was ok, not as great as I expected. Certain dishes were wonderful, and some great Mac and Cheese (all the kid would eat, lol).

I would try it and see if it is to your liking. There was some spice they used in most of the dishes that I did not like.

Have a great trip.

We ate at BOMA last Oct for breakfast for the first time, we are planning on two breakfasts this Oct and are going to give it a shot for Dinner, DD and myself are very picky eaters, but I figure I can always eat off of the kids food :rotfl:

If you are staying on site and bought tickets from Disney you have until tomorrow to add the Dining Plan. Are you sure it isn't for you?

Looking forward to giving it a wing in August - it'll be our first try there. How are the sweet potato pancakes - any idea?

we really enjoy BOMA and try to eat there everytime we are in WDW.... it is one of our favorite places.......

Boma is very good we are a family of 6 with two very picky eaters and they love boma too. It's a must do on very trip.

We did this in December. Both DH and I are fairly adventurous eaters. I did really enjoy it however, did expect more after reading the boards. My DH on the other hand thought it was WOW! It is a must do for him next time we go. I certainly don't have a problem with going again. My kids are quite picky but there was more than enough to keep them satisfied.

It was good...DH & I enjoyed it more though than our kids (who are not really picky eaters). I think this time we might try Tusker House in AK as we've heard it's similiar to Boma and I think it might even be a little cheaper.
