Boma--can I do this?

We have some picky eaters and we're not going to be dining at Boma this time around, but I would love to try the zebra domes. Can you call in an order of them to go?

I don't know if you can get them to-go at Boma, but I'm pretty sure that they are usually available at the AKL quick service location, the Mara. And if you are on the DDP, according to the DDP confirmed snack thread, they can be had for a snack credit.

Yep, I got some from the Mara and used them for my snack credit. They were so good- so glad DH and DD didn't like them- I didn't have to share.

All PP's are correct. Zebra Domes are available at The Mara for one snack credint. On our last trip, DH & I made a quick stop at The Mara after our dinner at Jiko for some Zebra Domes as an in-room snack later that night. When we were in Zawadi on our way out, a few CM's tried to barter to get them from me as they are their favorite dessert. Enjoy!

You can also get their yummy butternut squash soup at the Mara as well. That soup is to die for! Mara is one of our favorite QS restaurants and we try to eat there at least 2-3 times.

You can get them in Mara, you don't even have to go into Boma.

For the record, Boma is doable even with picky eaters. They have some very standard fare available, and the kids area has the requisite chicken nuggets and mac and cheese. It might be worth a try, especially since the buffet allows for sampling of many different items. I wouldn't dismiss it completely - it is the best buffet on property IMO!
