I am checking into DAK Lodge on Saturday for the second time. :):) My family is eating at Boma on Saturday for dinner. Everyone always raves about how great it is, and I can't wait to try it. But how is the breakfast? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

IMO, that is....LOL

Our family of 4 stayed at the AKL and fell in love with Boma. Dinner was good but our favorite meal there was breakfast. They have quite a selection! The made to order omelets, homemade muffins and pastries are out of this world. Also lots of fruit and the good old favorites eggs, pancakes, french toast, etc.
Everytime we vacation at WDW we do breakfast there at least one morning of our trip, even if we are staying elsewhere.

You should try it at least once to see how you like it. Hope this helped some. Enjoy!

We ate breakfast at Boma twice and each time the food was of a high quality with a very good selection. We have been back in the UK for three weeks now and my wife stills reminisces about the meals we had at Boma. oh well, we have good memories to live on !!

I have eaten dinner twice and breakfast twice at Boma and by far I prefer the breakfasts! Most of the dinner choices were a little too exotic and spicy for me. But the breakfast are the best anywhere. Best bacon in WDW! And the scones are something in my dreams. Out of this world pastries! Oh, I shouldn't be thinking about pastries as I just started the Atkins diet!!!

Dinner is great, but breakfast is an experience you will remember and crave for along time. I am dreaming of the wonderful pastries (especially the sticky buns), custom made eggs, smoked pork tenderloin, glasses of cold Frunch, and pressed pots of Kenya AA. Make sure you make PS.

If anyone in your party likes hot tea be sure to try the special pot of tea available at Boma's. I enjoyed it immensely along with everything else. I think I prefer the breakfast to the dinner but it's close! :)

Thanks for the input! I just made priority seating for breakfast at Boma. We will now be eating both breakfast and dinner there. I can't wait!

Glad to hear the great reviews. I was just talking to DH about eating here for breakfast and now I'm hooked. A have a few questions. What time do they stop serving? I've always wondered, if breakfast hours say untill 11:00, can you make a ressie for 11:00, or is that when they actually stop serving? Do they still keep bringing out fresh food until the very end? My thought was it might be nice to sleep in a little the morning we go and take the latest seating and then head to AK for the rest of the day. Has anyone else done something like this?

Well, here comes the voice of dissent!

When DH and I had breakfast there in November it was not worth the price. With tip and coffee the bill came to $50-something. The eggs were powdered and the omelettes were runny. The pastries were good, but those can be gotten at the Mara. Just my .02! Maybe it was just a bad day for them when we went????

Erin :D
