Ok, We will be going to WDW Dec3-10 and staying at AKL for the first time.
We have dinner ADR at Boma our first night there. But I have not made a ADR for Breakfast.
Will we be missing out and will I regret not having breakfast there also?
It would be OOP.
How are are ADR's for breakfast? Could be walk in or make one after we arrive at the hotel?
Or do I go ahead and make one?

Personally, I love Boma for breakfast. They have a lot to choose from and their Jambo Juice is out of this world.

Needing an ADR really depends on when you want to eat. If you want to eat in the 7-8 AM time frame, it would not hurt to get an ADR. There have been times where an ADR was just not necessary.

We loved breakfast at Boma! We were able to get a ressie a week before our trip during free dining without any problems. My only mistake was making this our first day breakfast. My family revolted when I served cold cereal and bagels in the room after it! Now it is great food in a wonderful atmosphere, but if I had young children into the characters and had to choose this over a character breakfast I wouldn't. Especially on the dining plan. Would I pay OOP? Not sure, we were on the dining plan. I think it would have been about $55 for my family of four. That is a lot for breakfast and I'm a cheapie so that is why we continued to eat cereal and bagels in the room the rest of the week. :goodvibes

Boma Breakfast was our best breakfast in the world. Yes-do it! I made our reservations while in the world 2 days before we ate there. :thumbsup2 Awesome!

We stayed at AKL for 21 nights so ate breakfast at Boma about 10 or more times during our trip. We only had dinner there once (and twice at Jiko, the food there was so good and dinner at Mara many times), we preferred the breakfast at Boma over the dinner.

I can't remember if we had an ADR every time we went. No, I'm sure we didn't, I'm sure we just turned up once or twice and did get straight in. It is a big restaurant and isn't a character meal so I don't think it gets as busy for breakfast as it does at dinner, sure it gets busy but I don't remember not seeing a spare table at breakfast. The thing is too, if you can't get in, then you can go around to Mara and grab breakfast, not as good as Boma though.

we went to Boma for the first time this past September (for breakfast) and we LOVED it, def one of our favs and a new must do for future trips!! Matter of fact we are going 2x next year!! I have some ok pics of the buffet in my TR!!We give it :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

If you enjoy a big breakfast, it would be a shame to miss Boma--especially since you are staying at the resort. Enjoy!:thumbsup2

If you enjoy breakfast, Boma is the way to go! Delicious!!! Best breakfast we had at WDW, by far! Enjoy and I would make an ADR for it before arriving, just to be safe.

Have a great trip!

Yes, yes...Definitely go there for breakfast!! It is very good...and if you think of it, ask for Brenda for your waitress! She is great at what she does and she will no doubt add to a most fabulous meal experience!!

:hippie:

I'm looking foward to going there, that is gonna be my last ADR/stop before I head off to the airport to fly home. :sad2: :sad1:

Boma was the best breakfast I have ever had. OMG....The Orange/Mango juice
