Boma breakfast? Why so pricey and is it worth it?

Since we are staying at Kidani for our upcoming trip I thought I would look into eating breakfast at Boma, but it is priced the same or even more than some of the character buffets.

So what are your thoughts? Should we splurge and have breakfast there for $25 a person when there is going to be 5 of us?

We ate there this past Sunday, and the price was $18.99, not the $24.99 listed online. Even so, it was not worth the price to us. We loved it when we ate there a couple years ago, but the quality and quantity of their food offerings are not what they used to be. One example, their warm sticky buns, which we loved, were sitting there cold and hard as a rock. And our server was sooo slooow; took us forever to get a beverage refill, and then our check. Terrible!

Like the above DISer said, the price is $18.99, the food is normal breakfast food. They have some unique offerings, but very limited. Not too differnt from what you would get anywhere else. We stayed at AKL almost 2 months ago for our wedding celebration and had the deluxe dining, so if we wanted breakfast we ate there because the credits were better spent than eating quick service. We liked it, it was nice and the food was good. Nothing out of this world, but good. However, if you go for dinner, well thats a different story;AMAZING!

Whenever you see a buffet price shown that does *not* end in ".99", that should set off a flag - it's probably a tax-included price. In fact, $24.49 is $22.99 plus tax, and $22.99 represents the $4 upcharge that gets added to the "normal" price of $18.99.

If you do have breakfast there, be sure to ask about the frunch for your beverage. Yes, it's loaded with sugar, but if you love fruit juices, it's divine.
