Boma breakfast or Tusker House lunch

Trying to decide which one...help

I'd go for the lunch at TH, but no one in my group is very interested in a big breakfast. TH is a character buffet FWIW.

Book a Tusker House breakfast at 10:30 or later. You will be able to have breakfast and still be able to sample some lunch items as they do the slow change-over to lunch. Now, you have the best of both worlds. And at the lower breakfast price. This is also partly my preference - I love breakfast on vacation.

We did this a week ago with a 10:25 ADR and we checked in right on time. They even had a couple of lunch items (chicken curry and rice) out when we got there. They started slowly changing over about 1/2 way through our breakfast. About 40 minutes into our time there, almost all of the lunch items were out and the breakfast items that were left were moved to the cart in the middle of the buffet. I will say that most of the tables in our room had vacated when we started to go get some lunch items since we were the last table seated in that room at 10:30, but that wasn't going to rush me out of there!!

Sometimes the change-over can occur very slowly - we attempted to do this 2 years ago and our attempt failed because they so slowly trickled out the lunch items starting after 11:00 and we just gave up.

I love Boma breakfast, but if you like desserts - be aware that Boma breakfast oddly has none like the other bf buffets.

Except the bread pudding. I could seriously eat my weight in that bread pudding. Don't even get me started on the sauce.

Tusker House. Where else are you going to meet Mickey & his gang in safari gear? The food & ambiance are good, too.

We think the food quality is better at Boma. As as PP mentioned, the french toast bread pudding with praline sauce is pretty awesome (as is the grilled asparagus & tomato). Yum!
