We are staying at AKL in October and I am trying to decide between having a late breakfast at Boma or lunch at Sanaa on the day of our Halloween party.

I have a late breakfast booked at Boma already. I’ve read so many comments here saying Boma is the best breakfast, so I wanted to try it for myself BUT we do have a Tusker House breakfast booked for the day before. Is the Boma breakfast pretty similar to Tusker House?

We are adventurous eaters, and the bread service at Sanaa sounds delicious. For those who have tried both, which would you pick in our shoes? We’re planning to spend all day swimming and hanging out at the resort until around 5.

Wow those are two of our restaurants that we eat every time we go. Boma for breakfast and Sanaa for lunch. We enjoy Tusker House but Boma is much better in our opinion. I would do Boma breakfast and Sanaa lunch and skip Tusker House. But if you want to keep Tusker House for breakfast then I would probably pick Sanaa for lunch.

Enjoy!

Food wise Boma is similar to Tusker House so I would go with Sanaa for lunch. You said you’re adventurous eaters so you will love Sanaa, so many interesting food options and yes, the bread service is AMAZING! I don’t think you’d be disappointed. My ADR day is tomorrow and Sanaa is on my list.

Boma has a MUCH larger selection of food than Tusker House. Honestly I don't even think the two are comparable because there is so much more at Boma. My only issue with Boma breakfast is that my stomach doesn't have a larger capacity because I always want to try so much more than I can physically eat!! To me Tusker House could be described as "Boma Light" - I would not choose it over Boma but if you couldn't get a Boma ADR it would give you an idea of what Boma is all about.

These are probably my two favorite WDW meals, so I couldn’t choose. When I stayed at AKL a couple of years ago I had both of these meals and then added a second ADR for breakfast at Boma for our departure day. So, personally, I would try to find time for both during my stay.

I agree completely - I wouldn't pick Tusker House over Boma - unless you want the character meal.

For a character breakfast, Tusker House is one of the best. It does have a large selection for a character meal, Boma just offers even more. I wouldn’t schedule those two big breakfasts back to back, if possible skip a day in between them.

If you do an early Boma breakfast, I’d have a late lunch at Sanaa. Possibly sharing the bread service and an entree.

You cannot go wrong either way, but both are better than Tusker House. I would give the edge to Boma breakfast due to the variety, but they are both great options.

Maybe we will do lunch at Sanaa the day of the party and try Boma’s breakfast on our departure day. We are doing Tusker House because my son is a big Donald fan and we settled on TH as our only character meal. We booked it with the FoL package.

Super excited to try both restaurants at AKL after reading everyone’s glowing reviews! Thanks all!
