Since we are staying at AKL we decided we need to try Boma since that has been our excuse not to go in the past. Should I book breakfast or dinner? We can't decide!

The food is completely different, so book whichever fits your touring schedule and meal preference best. For a longer trip we do both, although not on the same day. Although the breakfast is a buffet there are no characters which I think makes it a more peaceful experience; we like the breakfast on a sleep-late, non-park or water park only day. We like the dinner on an AK day just to kind of keep the theme going.

They are both good. Pick what fits into your schedule. We are staying at AKV this year. We are going to breakfast on our checkout day. We are going to dinner there after the waterpark. I like to go back to the room and shower and have dinner close by.

Also, you should consider Sanaa. I prefer it to Boma. We will also be having dinner there.

Both are excellent, Different but equally awesome..Slight nod to Dinner though...Just for those delicious Soups....

I'm a fan of Boma for breakfast and Sanaa for dinner. It's the tastiest breakfast buffet in my opinion, and has goat cheese scrambled eggs, mmm. Boma for dinner is delicious too, but Sanaa is just so delicious that I can't pass it up.

We've never been for breakfast, but we love dinner, which is a must do for us every trip. With that said, I have read great things about breakfast, so I agree with the others that I would do what fits your schedule the best :).

We loved the breakfast buffet, I think it is the best one at WDW that I have had. The supper one is really good to.
My vote is breakfast over supper buffet if I had to choose one.

We liked Boma breakfast so much that we went back again later in the week and we were not staying at AKL. Planning to do dinner for the first time in November, and probably breakfast again. :goodvibes

3 words.....breakfast, breakfast and breakfast! Gotta get the French toast bread pudding with the caramel praline sauce! Even if you don't like bread pudding, it will knock your socks off! 2 Disney trips, and 3 Boma breakfasts, and we will go back again when we come back!

We usually stay for about ten days and try and do both breakfast and dinner at Boma. We love the fantastic food, and it's in such a wonderful setting and location! Depending on your length of stay and other plans, I think you there is no way to go wrong with picking either, or both!
Have a great time!

I'm on the same page with most of these folks ... I bet you'd love either one. (or both!!) Enjoy!

.

We love dinner at Boma, but have never had breakfast there..so can't really compare the two. We have had consistently good dinner experiences there though over the years.

Breakfast! It's so different than so many other breakfast buffets in Disney and the juice is AMAZING!

I've done both several times, and much prefer breakfast. It's much more peaceful, and I like the sunny windows.
