Trying to decide for our next trip and we have never eaten at BOMA before, but have heard great things about it.

I have never had breakfast there, but dinner is a must do on every trip. It's one of my favorite meals.

Love both but dinner is definitely the better of the two. having said which if you only get time for breakfast it is still worth doing :)

You HAVE to try Boma dinner! We ate at many wonderful places (including Le Cellier, Ohana, etc) last month and this was our hands down favorite. It is a must do for every future trip!!

You really can't go wrong with breakfast or dinner. We have been to both several times, I am a breakfast person, so I enjoy the variety and the freshness of the food. The dinner has lots of different items to try, African cuisine that has different spices and textures, so if you are not an adventurous eater, I would stick with breakfast. We are staying at AKL in a few weeks, and we have ressies for breakfast and dinner !!

We didn't really care for dinner there. We absolutely loved breakfast there, so much that we went back again at the end of our trip. We do eat at Jiko on each of our trips and love it there!!

I am not a big breakfast eater...so unless I was doing it for Brunch (or a child or husband drag me for their special occasion breakfast as will happen on next trip for Chef Mickey's), I would much prefer dinner.

And with dinner--there is dessert!

I haven't tried the breakfast, so I may have to once...for Brunch.

Didn't like dinner. All of the carved meat was dry, tough, or both. The ribs were tough. That did it for us - didn't go back.

However, we went several times for breakfast - mostly because it is a fairly good buffet without characters. The pecan sticky rolls were to die for. The line for made to order omelets was always too long for us (at least 15 minute wait), so we never got an omelet - and we were there between Thanksgiving & Christmas when we rarely waited longer than 5-15 minutes in line at the parks! The carved ham was very dry. But we enjoyed the eggs, waffles, bacon, etc. Did I mention - breakfast buffet, but NO characters - a wonderful thing!

The service was good.

For breakfast, noticed all the walkins without ADR were accepted.

I liked both, but I liked breakfast more.

However, if going to RD is important to you, I would not suggest breakfast at Boma unless you're staying at AKL. Otherwise it's nearly impossible to eat there and still make RD.

Boma dinner is one of my favorites! I love the uniqueness of the food, yet there is still enough familiar for my picky family to enjoy it as well. Breakfast is good too...probably more recognizable stuff on the breakfast buffet, but still a good selection of African foods.

We do dinner there every trip! It's DH's ONLY request the entire time. We've never had breakfast there but I've heard it's very good.

Dinner. Breakfast isn't anything really special or different. They don't even have lamb sausage anymore, like they used to.
