If you had to pick between breakfast or dinner at Boma, which would you do?

I know you'l be tempted to say both, but if you had to choose, which would it be?

Thanks in advance.

Both are good but I love their breakfast if I HAD to choose. This is my all time favorite place to eat while visiting. The have the best juice when you are seated. :thumbsup2

Well we have only gone to breakfast and it was to die for! Seriously we loved it and cancelled another breakfast so we could add a second Boma during our stay. We are trying dinner in Oct.

I have 2 sets (a ton of pics) and reviews from our March/April trip in my signature

Oh my gosh, it's you, it's you!

I think it was your review that made me doubt dinner because didn't you take some gorgeous pictures of the food?

I seriously need to use your links and check it out!!!:goodvibes

Is your family picky or adventerous ? If they are picky, I would go with breakfast as there are more options for the picky eaters. At dinner , there are more interesting foods. I like both but my kids prefer b'fast. My picky eater requested it for b'fast on our last day this year.

DH and I are very laid back when it comes to food. We can usually find something to be happy with anywhere, and we're open to trying new things. We do also have a three year old to consider, but he's pretty flexible as well, and will often try "adult" meal items in addition to kid stuff.

I'm a breakfast person, so I would vote for breakfast. But you can get the special "jungle" juice for dinner too (I've done it).

Wow, so far it seems most are in favor of breakfast. I think I need to read some menu descriptions again.

Did I add that I love breakfast on vacation? We don't go crazy with it during the year, so it feels like a real treat.

Yes its me its me! Whatever you pick enjoy it! :cutie:

Both are good, but we like dinner better. There are more unusual foods offered at dinner that we can't get anywhere else. Breakfast has more "normal" food offerings.

:thumbsup2 It was definitely your food trippie that swayed me over to breakfast. Thanks for posting such great pictures of it.

Woo hoo, someone who likes dinner!!!

I love dinner there.

We have enjoyed both but prefer dinner at Boma over breakfast.

Seems like the dinner voters are catching up!

One of the reasons I thought about keeping my dinner ressie is because it frees us up in the morning to spend our whole day at AK, then relax for a nice dinner at the lodge.

But I'm still on the fence.

That's why I started this thread.:thumbsup2

I said breakfast in my last post but if you have been swayed to dinner don't skip the zebra domes another one of my favorites. I'm getting fat or should I say fatter just thinking about it! We are going again in Dec. and I am already counting the days down until I can make my ADR. Boma will be on the list a couple of times for breakfast and at least once for dinner!

Well, everyone, I called today and switched my ressie to breakfast. Seriously, the pics had me droolin', and I can't wait to get a nice pot of organic rooibos tea to enjoy with my meal.

Now about the Zebra Domes...I thought you could get some at Mara? Is this true? I'm curious, people rave about them, but I'm wondering if there's an overwhelming coffee taste?

Yes you can get them at the Mara and if you are on DDP they can be used as one snack :) I didn't know they had any coffee in them at all:confused3 I hate coffee and I love them, so if they do it is definately not overwhelming! I'm glad you made your decision. I know you won't regret it!

I thought someone mentioned once an espresso flavoring...I'll have to see if I can find that thread for you.

Glad to hear you love them, I think they'd be a perfectly good use of a snack.

I can totally see myself doing Boma for dinner next year when I have my extended family with us. I think it would be fun to try as a big group. I'm more apt to get my DS to sit for a bigger meal at breakfast, and that was also what threw me over the edge for switching. He's a three year old that loves breakfast. Fruit, eggs, cereal, toast, you name it.:thumbsup2
