I think I want to try Boma's while we are staying at AKL in March. But I can't decide if I want to pick breakfast or dinner. So I need some help. Which is better?

Well....Boma is great for Breakfast if it's morning and you're real hungry for oatmeals, breakfast casseroles and other breakfast type foods!

and.....Boma is great for Dinner if it's dinner time and you're real hungry for Roast Beef, Cous Cous, Chicken dishes, delicious desserts and other buffet dinner foods!

We love both but I wouldn't'/couldn't decide on one verses the other! So I suggest you look at the menu on-line to determine which foods would be more attractive to you to help you make your decision!

Enjoy!

I much prefer it for dinner. Breakfast is pretty standard with although good. The dinner is what you can't get anywhere else. It's like nothing else on property but there are enough items for picky eater as well.

As mamaprincess said, Boma serves standard breakfast foods. But their dinner foods are interesting and unique. If you're only going to Boma once, do it at dinner time!

I have heard great things about Boma for breakfast. I haven't eaten there for breakfast myself though.
I have eaten there for dinner. After our dinner there we decided we would not be back. It's a one time thing for us for sure.

Both! If you can fit it in. I don't have experience with any other breakfast buffets at Disney to compare it with, but it was fantastic food and great atmosphere. And, the dinner... awesome, too. If I absolutely had to pick one, though, I'd choose dinner. I think you maybe get more for your money at dinner.

I've done both and prefer dinner to breakfast. Dinner is a must on every trip for us.
Breakfast is just normal fare, where at dinner you have some interesting choices. They also have the standard mac & cheese, pastas, etc. for the kids or picky eaters.

I can let you know, we have done both, and Jiko in the same weekend.
All three are different experiences, you could do both breakfast and dinner at Boma and feel like you have eaten in two different restaurants. Both are excellent.

I agree- do both if you can. Boma is different- and great at either meal

I say breakfast. We had breakfast there about 11 times on our last trip (we were staying at AKL for 21 nights), we loved the breakfast.

We only had dinner there once, none of us were really into the dinner, but that was just our personal tastes, it was ok, but nowhere near as good a meal as we had at Jiko, Yak and Yeti, Mara to name a few, but again, that was just our personal tastes and we had allergy issues too so were restricted with what we could eat on the dinner buffet.

I have done both and I liked the dinner much better. Like someone else mentioned, the breakfast food is for the most part the same as other places, but the dinner is unique.

I completely agree :thumbsup2

We stayed at AK this past September and really enjoyed breakfast there several mornings. We only ate dinner there once it was good but breakfast was better to us.

Also, it is much less crowded in the mornings.

Dinner.

We stayed at AKL over Thanksgiving and did both during our trip. We were actually a bit disappointed in breakfast. We didn't care for any of the "African" dishes, so we only ate the "normal" foods, most of which we could have gotten at Mara for a lot less money.

This was our 3rd time at Boma for dinner and we were not disappointed! Loved it as always. Even if we stay at the AKL again, we probably won't do Boma for breakfast.

Same here! I guess my mom and I are still not prepared for the "different" restaurants...We like to know what we are eating. Sometimes I wish I was more adventurous though....then I would try more of the restaurants around World Showcase.

Hands down their breakfast is the way to go. It was the best meal we have eaten at Boma. There is a huge variety and some unusual dishes too.
