I've heard that there are alternative menus in both restaurants for kids. Our little one doesn't eat much at all and a buffet would be a waste for her. Is it true? If so, is there a difference in price from the regular kids' menu? What's the alternative menu include?

Very equal but probably Boma. 'Ohana has the contests going for it but aside from that it seems to be a more formal setting. Boma allows the kids to 'up and down' frequently.

For sheer entertainment my kids always liked Teppenyaki best, although I know you didn't ask. pirate:

'Ohana lets children order from the menu for (shoot, the name escapes me now) - a restaurant nearby - Kona cafe, maybe? I recall hearing of children ordering the usual burgers, chicken fingers, or grilled cheese. I've never heard of an alternate/children's menu at Boma, as the other full-service restaurant is pretty upscale, but the buffet itself at Boma offers macaroni and cheese and other things for children or the less-adventurous eater. FWIW, those are my own children's favorite restaurants at WDW (ages 10 and 7; were 8 and 4 on their first WDW dining experience).
