Boma ADR Logistic Question

I read in the reviews that getting to Boma is difficult (resort to resort) should we plan to go here when we attend Animal Kingdom, will we be in walking distance (interested in dinner). I think I am going to like this ADR, picking out restaurants.

You cannot walk from AK to AKL. It is pretty easy to just take the AKL resort bus in front of any park to get to Boma (AK is very close and closes early so many people seem to go to AKL for dinner after an AK day.) The tricky part can be getting back to your resort after dinner, depending how late you finish dinner - grab a bus @ AKL to whatever park is still open after your dinner then hop over to your resort's bus @ that park. Or transit via DTD.

Resort to resort travel is always challenging. There are no direct buses from one resort to another, you need to transfer at a theme park or DTD. You should plan on 60 -90 minutes travel time.
Going to Boma would be easiest on your AKL day. Simply take the AK bus from the park when you are ready. As already stated the challenge will be returning to your resort after dinner.
Another option is to take a cab. I always budget for a cab ride or two for meals, in my planning. It is still way cheaper than renting a car, and basically we enjoy Disney transportation. We find not driving while we are there to be part of the "vacation". It just takes understanding the system, being patient, and planning for a cab or two for the really difficult trips.

You could go to AKL on any park day. Just take the AKL bus from that park. Its closest to AK so that would be the fastest way but the bus rides dont bother my fam. Getting back to your resort will take some time however, since you need to transfer to your resort bus at a park no later than one hour after that park closes (I would not suggest DTD transfer as that will prob take forever)

Do a search and see which park is closest to your resort so you have an idea of the best park to transfer from.

Also, you cant walk from AK to AKL.

Buses from the parks to resorts run until the park is cleared of all guests which is about two hours not one hour. No one is left stranded.
But buses will not pick up at a resort and drop off at the park once the closing time is reached. So if it's about ten minutes before park closing, your only choice as far as WDW buses, is the DTD bus. Bus travel time from AKL to the MP is about the same as by car.
