So I told my friends let's just do desserts and my husband will tend bar for the adults. He makes a great frozen Margarita. But then I felt guilty because we always serve a big spread.
No need to feel guilty your friends agreed to desserts and drinks so I'd go with that - they are likely planning a meal prior knowing this going in so the extras will likely go to waste. And it keeps you from planning a menu of hot dogs (shiver I find them disgusting). If you want to add something then fruit goes along with desserts and would be a nice add
