Boggy Creek without a car?

I'm not a regular visitor to the UK boards so first off, hi! :wave3:

Myself and a mate are visiting Orlando (staying on I-Drive) this September and we'd like to visit Boggy Creek to do an airboat ride. I've done one at the Everglades in the past but my they never have and are determined to do one.

Neither of us will be driving though so my question is... is there a relatively easy (and cost-effective) way to get there from I-Drive? How much would a cab be even? Is it even doable?

Also, any thoughts or opinions on BC and/or the airboat rides in general?

Welcome!

Yes this is possible. We did the Boggy Creek Airboat ride last year without a car, we prebooked it as an excursion before leaving the UK and had the option of booking with or without trasport. All we had to do was contact the company a few days before the trip to find out the pick up time and a bus picked us up. We were staying in the Lake Buena Vista area but I'm sure there were other pick up areas as well.

Not sure about costs of buses/taxis if you're making your own way there, maybe someone else would have more info on this?

Fantastic! How did you book it? I've already had a look on their website as I figured there would be an option including transportation but it doesn't mention anything. :confused3

we drove and found it quite a way out so a tai i would think is quite expensive but if you visit mears they will estimate it online for you

We booked tickets through Orlando Ticket Deals, however looking at the website and on ATD it looks like they are no longer offering this which is such a shame as it made things so much easier for us. Gator Tours still have an airboat ride with transport listed on their website, though not sure if this is still at Boggy Creek

Has the Eastlake location re-opened yet? Don't think it has so only location will be Boggy Creek SouthPort park, its along way out, just done a Mears estimate for a taxi and from Central Idrive its $65 each way.
We though it was great but I wouldn't do it by taxi, not worth that.
