Hi everyone,

Thinking about doing this on our forthcoming trip........

Has anyone done this?

If so - did you do the 30 min ride / 45 min ride or the night one?

Any comments much appreciated.......

Not long now

Hiya..

Not done one ourselves but had so many people say it is well worth a try and great fun, so we have booked for this holiday managed to get on a groupon deal and got a special 1 hour boat trip for less then the charge for 1/2 hour on there website..........:thumbsup2

We've done the half hour one a few years ago and enjoyed it with boggy creek.

This year we've bought the groupon tickets for the 1 hour tour at the other location - east lake camp. Going in october.

The coupon Wayne has linked to is the beat deal i've seen for the 1/2 hr tour.

Hello,
We done the 30 minute ride in 2008. It was great. We didnt see much of the wildlife, I guess we were just unlucky on the day, but the experience is fantastic. Try the longer ride though. We hope to do it again when we return in 2012.
Have fun!

We did a private one in 2008 and thought it was great, not somethung we can do now as girls too young but glad we did it and will take them when older

DD was 22 months when we did the boogy creek 1/2 hr one.

They gave her a life jacket and we sat her between us. Obviously she has no recollection but we have some cute pictures of her on the boat with the earmuffs on and dummy in. Probably wouldn't suit all toddlers though - it is noisy.

It was free for her aswell.

Have done this at least twice, and loved it! Did the 30 min trip last year with DF and his two boys. We saw lots of wildlife, and loved zooming around on the lake in the airboat. We got a discount voucher from the Boggy Creek website before we went.

DF loved it, eldest DS loved it, youngest DS (8 at the time) didn't quite get the hang of taking his ear defenders off to listen to the guide, and didn't see much of the wildlife (but then he was in a weird mood that day anyway!).

Would definitely do it again. Just remember it will be noisy. And remember lots of suncream, and depending on the time of year, insect repellant. This is REAL Florida and it will be toasty, and the wildlife isn't all 10 feet long ;)
