BoG vegetarian soups

The Disney BoG lunch menu describes, for both the French Onion and Potato Leek soups, "Vegetarian option." The dinner menu makes no mention of this.

Does this mean you have to ask for the vegetarian soups, and that it's different from the regular soups, and furthermore, only available for lunch? If so, has anyone tried them and can comment on their quality?

Or does it mean that the soups are always vegetarian, and they omitted saying so on the dinner menu just to save space?

I know the French onion soup is vegetarian...they use a veggie broth. I would assume the potato leek one is also, but I don't know that for certain.

Both use a veggie broth base. Personally, I would stay away from the french onion soup, every time I have had it, it has been very salty.
