I have been at BOG before, always as a family.

I will be going alone for breakfast at 8AM, paying OOP. The adult menu doesn't tempt me. And also, I'd rather save both calories and dollars budget for a Dole Whip or a Mickey Bar.

If anyone tryed this...
Will I be allowed to order a kid's meal (at 14$, not a bigger portion)? I'd like Oatmeal and a milk for example. Will it come with a pastry tray?

I'm sure it does. But didn't you want to avoid the calories??

maybe she was planning on the pastries but trying to save the calories of the main meal!

If have a ppo planned myself and hoping to order off the kid menu as I can't eat much more than what is on there.

the kids menu does, however, say it comes with "a selection of pastries."

Got me :rolleyes1

Yes, I was hoping for a light breakfast and then eat the pastries as snacks later or post run the next day.

I ordered a kids' meal at my solo BoG breakfast last month. It was no problem and I received a full pastry tray.

If you really want to save calories and dollars, just order a cupcake and a cup of coffee.

May I ask, which one did you choose? Did you like it? Had you pre-order it? Thanks :magnify:

I had the Scrambled Eggs Maurice. The bacon and fruit were nice, the eggs were kinda dry and rubbery and I left most of those. With the pastry tray it was more than enough for me. I pre-ordered that morning and was the first one into the ballroom by a bit since no one else had ordered in advance, nice for pix!

I did ask if I could have tea instead of the child's drink and it was fine.

You are an inspiration! I'll also pre-order and hope for a special moment, thank you for the idea.

Your review of the Eggs Maurice corresponds to what I read on the adult version of it. The only other review I found on kids meals were of the crepes and it was saying that the vanilla yogourt taste was strong. So three choices left, oatmeal, cereals and French toasts.

I was able to order from the kids menu at every WDW QS locations including BOG.
It was always bordering too much food for me.

At BOG, the oatmeal was perfectly cooked and the pastries lasted me the rest of the day. It was a perfect carb loading breakfast+snacks before a runDisney challenge.

Here is how it looked:

Thanks for everyone advices!

Glad you posted this. I'm seriously debating this now, as I'm not a big fan of the adult options. The oatmeal looks good.
