Hi
I've seen the BOG web link for booking FP lunch booking. But where do you find the reservation #. We are staying onsite and trip is booked. We are in Canada and so don't have magic bands in our hands yet (I.e. Prefer to pick them up when we get there rather than have them mailed). So how do I get this #? Is it something our travel agent would have?
Also, booking is 60 days before, correct?

Did you try this?

So I logged into the Disney World app on my phone, pulled up "My Reservations", picked "View All" and right there in the Resort Reservations section was my 12 digit number that starts with a 4. I used that on the BOG FP+ website and it worked!

Just a tip so no one has to spend an hour looking for it like I did! :-). :confused3

There are many posting that they couldn't book the FP until closer to 30 days.

But what if you don't have the phone app? I have windows phone and so I can't get it.

PS - Just loaded it onto our iPad, but under My Reservations, it just shows our confirmation #...not this reservation #

Something must have changed recently because all of my little cheater spots to find the 12 digit number without calling are GONE. You used to be able to find it on the MagicBands customization page or on the app when you click the details of your resort reservation. Now it shows the 8 character alpha-numeric version. RATS!

Ugh! I knew I wasn't crazy. I found the 12 Digit number a few weeks ago, and wrote it down but lost the paper.. When I went back in this morning to find it again I couldn't and I knew I was looking in all the proper places.

Is this something a CM would provide over the phone? My trip is not until very October- early November, so I have time.. Just wondering for planning purposes.

Thanks!!

So, how far in advance can I do this? I found the number I will need (had it saved on my iPad notes) but it says no reservations available for this date for every day I've tried... Is it 60 or 30 days out, can anyone confirm?

I found another way to find the 12 digit number without calling.

Login to the Disney website.
On the My Disney Experience tab, click "My Itinerary"
Scroll the calendar to your check in day.

Now, use your web browser's "view source" feature to see the webpage's code. I use Chrome, so it is under the top menu View>Developer>View Source.

Once you have the source code open, do a page search for "reservationNumber"

You should see the 12 digit code on the same line in this format:

"reservationNumber" value="44XXXXXXXXXX">

Also, make sure you have the EXACT name on the reservation. I couldn't get my mother's room to work until I realized she was listed as First Middle Last on the mailed invoice we received. On the MDE pages, she is just listed as First Last.

You rock! Thank you SO much. This worked fantastic!

You're welcome. :)

I looked through the source of about 5 different pages last night, and when I found this I knew it looked right. But when I plugged it into the login, it didn't work. Bummer. Today I got a mailed invoice with the middle names included and I had an "aah ha!" moment.

I know some people have had luck calling and getting the number, but I did not. This is easier than waiting on the phone forever only to get an agent that isn't going to give it to you. :)

Very cool! Thanks so much.
As a note, I wasn't seeing it via Explorer, but then noticed you were using chrome, and voila. It's there. Thanks!

Question then about booking BOG FP. Now with the reservation # I can sign in and it shows me our travel dates. But we aren't going until October. Can I book the FP now? Or is it too early and it will be void by the time we get there?

Great! That's good to know about Explorer. I haven't tried it on any browser other than Chrome. I use a mac and also have Safari, but the WDW page tends to crash that.

I can confirm the trick also works with Firefox. Just right click and select 'view Page Source'.

Yes, it is too early. July hasn't even opened up yet. There may be a "BOG FP+ watch thread" you can subscribe to so you'll know when it opens up.

I asked when I was on with Disney Dining, but later, when I was on my Droid, I looked at my reservations and saw it there too. Wonder why it doesn't come up on my laptop? Weird...:scratchin
