BOG prepark opening questions

I snagged a 8:05 BOG on a day MK opens at 9:00. What do we do? Go to the gates and tell them we have a reservation? do the gates open at 9:00am or can you walk the park and just not ride rides till 9:00? Was hoping for a pic or 2 of an almost empty park. Also we are 2 adults 2 kids on dining plan, reservation is for 4, last year at QS stations I was able to order 1 adult meal and have the littlest split it when I knew they weren't starved and would want another QS later. Can I do this at BOG? I was able to do it last year at lunch but is breakfast different bc I think they give you pasteries for the table? Also hubby mifh Come but not want to eat he will just be there to help the kids, can we a
Ultimately order 2 adult QS meals for the 4 of us?? I'd hate to waste the food and the credits. We are doing pirates leauge at 10:55 that day so they will want a big lunch that day.

Great thing to have a perpark opening BOG ADR!

First thing first : keep in mind that MK now opens at 8 AM to all guests so everyone can walk on Main Street USA until the ''lands'' open at 9 AM.

With that being said, they're usually is a line, at the entrance, just for those who have a breakfast reservation. A cast member will simply scan your MB to make sure you can get it. That process will be done once again near the Liberty Square entrance.

Once you're done eating, you can't go really far if the parks is not open without a cast member nicely remember you that the park is not open yet. We usually head straight to Peter Pan's Flight after our BOG reservation. The access will be blocked, but you'll be among the firts to ride it

As far as the meal is concern, I do believe you can use the credits you want.

I would aim to arrive at the park around 7:45. The gates all the way over to the left are normally open (before 8 am) for people with PPO ADRs. There will be a CM standing near the left side of the hub with a sign that says Breakfast Reservations or Breakfast Reservation Check-In. He will instruct you to go to the left of the castle where a CM will scan your MB/check you have a reservation then left you walk back to BOG. You can order what ever you would like. My DH and I split a breakfast sandwich and the bowl of fruit that came with it, the kids shared a cupcake & a milk and we all shared the pastries. Milk arrives on the cart with the food, while juice, water, soft drinks and coffee are self serve.

We had a 8:00 BOG in May.as was mentioned, arrive well before 7:45 and go to the ADR line to the far left. Try to be near the front of the line. As you are let in about 7:45, you will be led to the correct location. The key is to order your food ahead of time on the MDE or on the website. When you arrive you can bypass the line to order and go straight to your table and the food you order will come out very quickly. Two adult meal will feed two average adults and two small kids that don't eat too much. Eat with a purpose and try to be done by 8:30. Exit and walk directly to the FP line for the SDMT. MOST of the time they will start the ride about 8:45 and you can get a couple rides in with no wait. Move on to PP a bit b fore nine and they will open it about nine, before they allow people pass the castle. We road that and then we're in place to move to adventure land as soon as the park opened. It was a really good morning!
