I have two 8am BOG adrs during my trip, since it's pretty early to take the bus to get to them I'm contemplating on wether or not I should keep them both. The prices are not an issue because we are on the dining plan. For anyone that's has done a prepark adr, was it it worth it? were you able to ride 7dmt or Peter pan easier than RDing? I currently don't have Peter pan fps, it's not a must ride for us so this is probably one thing I would line up for after BOG

Yes, there have been multiple reports of people being able to ride both 7DMT and PP. Sometimes 7DMT will actually allow PPO people to ride before actual park opening, sometimes you're just in front of the people coming from rope drop. For PP, you would be some of the first people allowed on. Definitely easier and less crowded than rope drop.

It's definitely a lot more pleasant. With the PPO you get to stroll through a very quiet Fantasyland, have a nice meal and then have an easy ride on two very busy
attractions. I especially appreciate the opportunity to walk through the Peter Pan queue without having to stand in an hour + line. I'm not big on re-rides so usually ride 7DMT and then head over to Peter Pan.

With rope drop you'll be squeezed with the hordes rushing over to Mine Train. It's nothing like Flight of Passage but still a kind of stressful start to the day.

The breakfast is pricey OOP but is quite nice. It feels like higher quality food than breakfast at my resort QS. I really like it on the Dining Plan.

If your schedule and budget allow it, I think you'l be happier with Early Morning Magic. You're assured early access to 7DMT and PP, and the breakfast is open until 10, so you're not rushed to eat.

If it's an EMM day, the advantage to the BOG PPO is about 5 minutes over rope droppers, so I don't think it's worth that money. On other days you might steal a ride before they get there if the CMs are in a good mood. Hard to predict, so if the money and schedule can work, you'll be happier with EMM.

I've done BoG PPO multiple times now and it has worked for me every time. I make sure it's not an EMH or EMM morning and I pre-order our meals. We were in and out with time for a restroom break and didn't feel rushed (but we're generally pretty efficient with meals anyway). YMMV.

From my experience (both as an attendee and a BoG PPO) EMM has little to no effect on the lines at park opening. People attending EMM will be headed elsewhere by 9:00 AM. I would definitely book a PPO on an EMM day but on an EMH one. I actually have an 8:15 BOG ADR on a EMM day booked for my September trip.

I love Early Morning Magic and try to attend each trip but it is pricey-$70/adult-when compared to PPO at BOG which would be included in your Dining Plan.

In the past we really enjoyed getting in early, taking photos of empty main street (no more) and then riding Mine Train several times... but things change.

Make sure and see if your dates match up with the Early Morning Magic dates https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/early-morning-magic/ as they didn't allow other guest on the rides till the official park opening, which with crowds at the HUB means you just get a slight head start on the line.

We have an ADR for 8:15 a.m. and hope to do the same. I've read that you can get into the park as early 7:45 a.m.? Is that the case? And that they generally don't hold you to the actual ADR time as long as it's before parking opening.

I got pictures of my daughter in her princess gown in front of the castle with NO ONE else in the shots.
Worth every minute of getting up early and every penny of the overpriced food and then some.

I will try to get BOG reservations for every trip just to experience the park so empty.

It has always worked really well for us, to PPO BOG(We have not been since EMM started) if nothing else simply because you are at the back of the park to start. We have been able to successfully do both 7DMT and PPF and then Space Mountain twice before we even had our first fast pass. It just keeps you ahead of the crowd for most of the day.

We found it to be worth it. We seemed to be ahead of the pack for the whole day. If your ADRs are not on back to back days, I suggest you try it for yourself once and then decide it you want to keep or cancel your second reservation.

We enjoyed our PPO at BOG. We arrived at 8:00 and had pre-ordered Breakfast. That really helped. We were ushered right in and breakfast came right away. Everyone liked their selections. (Bring a couple of plastic bags to take any left over pastries.) We didn't feel rushed and all went to the restroom before lining up for 7DMT about 8:45. We went on an EMM day. They held the line until about 5 minutest before official park opening. We could have gotten back in line just before the RD herds arrived but headed over to PP. We joined the crowd who were just starting to come through the castle which was fine as we wanted time to see the queue. It was a great way to start the day. That said, I'm not sure I'd do it twice during the same trip. I like to change things up. Suggest you try it and then you can decide whether you want to do it again.

Can I ask how long it took for breakfast?
We have a 9:25am and were hoping to get in line at Enchanted Tales afterwards without having to wait too long.

Was that before or after the new entry/rope drop procedures?

Correct! Our ADR is for 8:25, but we are going directly there and hope to be seated shortly after 8.

We've had BOG ADRs on regular park open days and EMM days. On regular days, we've gotten to ride 7DMT 1-2 times before the RD crowd was released. On EMMs, we've been held until the end of the morning show and then allowed to ride...so only one ride, but still ahead of the crowd.

IMO, the ADR is totally worth it.

We've done both and the photos with the new procedure are still very good/fairly empty.

With the old procedure, we'd go about 2/3 of the way down Main Street and stop for a picture. This year, we walked quickly down to the very last photographer.

You can also get some great shots if you go slightly to the right or left of the castle and take your own photos. They won't be totally centered, but they'll have next to no one in your frame. I also like to take pictures of my kids in the archways on the Tomorrowland side.
