BOG Preorder

Can anyone help me with doing the preorder for BOG lunch? We are on the dining plan and it's my understanding that instead of a drink we can replace it with something else such as a soup or an extra dessert. Is that really the case? And if so, how would I do that with pre-ordering? Do I just add it and the dining plan will cover it when we get there? I've never done the ordering ahead so any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

At BoG, you cannot substitute the drink for another snack item any longer. Apparently, too many people were abusing the self-serve drink stations, and helping themselves to a regular drink instead of water after subbing for the drink.

Bummer...but makes sense. Thanks for the help! Let me ask this. Since QS credits aren't broken down into adult vs. child, can we order an adult meal for our kids to share there? My son is only 2 so we don't have credits for him but I think if we just did 3 adult meals it would be enough for everyone.
