BOG preorder w multiple rooms and dining plan

We have a lunch reservation at BOG and would like to preorder and pay with our dining credits. We have 2 rooms in our group. I've seen some posts that say you cannot split payment. Just wondering if anything has changed and if this would be possible.

My husband and I and the "little" kids are in one room at one resort while our married son and his wife are at a different resort. Our reservations are linked on MDE to make FP & MM a little easier for the group. We all got the Summer Dining Discount/plan. We have an ADR for lunch at BOG one of our days. We plan to use our QSD credits (from each room) for that meal with the exception of our youngest child who while classified as a Disney Adult, eats like a bird so we plan to pay cash for her meal. We also plan to pre-order. Are we going to be able to do that?

No, you won't be able to pre-order and split the payment between the dining plan and cash.

Thanks. So we'd have to use dining plan credits for all meals or pay cash for all meals if we pre-order *or* not pre-order but be able to split between credits and cash....correct???

We made two ADRs for our lunch, one for three and one for two, at the same time. Since DH DD1, and I are on the dining plan and DD2 and DD3 are only 1 so they are not. We will still be getting them food but wanted to preorder. So basically one of our preorders will be food for DH, DD1, and I and the other will be OOP for our twins. That was the only way I could figure out to do it and still be able to preorder. I'm hoping it works haha

I'm thinking I might do something like this as well. I'll make a reservation for 1 person for the same time as the rest of our group. That person will order the kid's meal and pay cash. The rest of us will be on the reservation that uses the dining plan credits. That way we can all pre-order. Of course things just got more complicated because I got a Unique Offer Code in the mail today that will probably save us more money than the Summer Meal Deal so this whole issue may be a moot point.
