BOG pre-order lunch with substitutions?

I am on the QS dining plan, and I have a reservation for BOG lunch. I'm a bit confused about pre-ordering because it shows prices...so if I add a meal, dessert, and a drink, it'll count as one QS credit. But, if I want to substitute my drink for a soup which has a "snack" label on it, would I just pre-order the soup instead of the drink? I don't know if they will charge it as one meal QS and one snack credit as well??

Even if you pre order you can make changes when you arrive. I would order how you want it and then ask them for clarification at the podium inside.

Can anyone else confirm what they did for pre-ordering and substitutions? They list the soups as a dessert choice, but not as a drink choice.....
