Is the kids' pork the same thing as the adult braised pork? If so, how much smaller is the kids' portion? This is for lunch.

Pretty much. It comes with mashed sweet potatoes instead of regular mashed potatoes. Quite a bit smaller, of course.

Besides the kids having mashed sweet potatoes instead of regular mashed potatoes, the kids pork does not have the braising liquid (which has mushrooms, carrots and onions) that the adult entree has. The kids pork was still moist and tender, even without the sauce.

Thank you. I think I will stick with the adult entree then. I was thinking if it was the same I might get it with the French Onion soup. But I'll save it for when I try the Monsieur Croque.

Can you substitute regular mashed for the sweet mashed? This is an option my one daughter would like but she doesn't always like sweet potatoes.

I don't think you can. When I went to preorder the kids' pork, the side options were mashed sweet potatoes, green beans, peach applesauce, pommes frites, chocolate chip cookie, or no side. You can choose two of these.
