Dinner question. Which would you do with a 4 year old girl? She already chose Akershus over BOG once, but we have never done 'Ohana so I am not sure if the entertainment is better than eating inside the Beast's castle...

I would go with BOG. Tried Ohana for first time in April and was not impressed by food or otherwise! Very mixed reviews on the boards (which I read going in), but opted to try it anyhow. Should have saved the $160 + tip! They seem to be very inconsistent with food and service....hit or miss and we obviously were there on a "miss" night!

BOG- we've always had awesome dinners there. DD6 and DS4 both love eating in the beast's castle and getting to meet the beast afterwards(not guaranteed).

I think the food is better at 'Ohana but I think a 4-year old girl would enjoy BOG for dinner much more. Breakfast would be a toss up though.

Not a toss up here. Ohana for breakfast. For roughly $5+tip PP, assuming everyone is eating breakfast and not sharing, Ohana kills BOG for everything except PPO access:
  • the juice!
  • bottomless bacon and sausage, HEL-lo, come to mama
  • The bread!
+ Mickey + Pluto + Lilo + Stitch.

The Ohana breakfast bread basket kills the sad BOG pastries for deliciousness.

My friends son is around that age and she said he had a blast at Ohana with the little game they play with the kids.
For a more magical experience I'd have to say BOG though, the restaurant is gorgeous! :)

The juice at Ohana is FANTASTIC. I probably drank a gallon by myself back in January. I have never been disappointed with Ohana....breakfast or dinner. LOVE it. Our almost 4-year old daughter loved the breakfast there because of the characters. They also did a parade around the dining room and she got to hold Mickey's hand the entire way around. So she was over to moon with that.

I've tried Be Our Guest just once, for lunch, and was INCREDIBLY underwhelmed. The theming IS fantastic. So well done. But the food was less than mediocre. I would like to go back and try dinner at least once....just to give them another chance.

We loved breakfast at Ohana and had an okay lunch at BOG, that said, it wasn't our best day there.

I really liked the interaction at Ohana, we had an amazing view and the food was good, although nothing spectacular.

The theming was beautiful at BOG, the service was not very good and the food was decent, better than Ohana. Aso, it was lunch, so neat to be in the castle, but it was packed and long wait to order food and the Beast wasn't there (we knew that, but kids were still asking). I think I would enjoy BOG more for dinner without kids or when they are older.

So, for me, would go for Ohana with a 4yo for breakfast for sure, and would be more of a toss-up for the other meals.

Ohana hands down, but I look at the age of your child and say BOG. We love Ohana for all meals and are booked there twice in October :) LOL!!! We've done BOG before and only have it booked once for breakfast this trip and mainly just because we want to get into the park early. Don't get me wrong, the food at BOG is good, but we just prefer Ohana.

BOG for sure for dinner!! Next time, try Ohana for breakfast! It's amazing!

Thanks! I changed it to BOG. My husband and I have eaten there, and I remember thinking how cool she would think it was inside.

I guess it depends on what meal you are looking to eat there, Breakfast or Dinner? Dinner at Ohana is amazing! Hands down has been our favorite for years... but after eating at BOG my hubby said that was his new favorite. I'm still hooked on Ohana. BOG is beautiful inside and definitely worth a visit. The food is good... but I don't remember leaving there thinking it was amazing. Would it be possible for you to go there for a QS lunch so that you are able to enjoy the beauty of the Beasts castle and still be able to go to Ohana to enjoy the amazing feast that they have to offer? As for your 4 year old daughter, I think little princesses enjoy eating in castles. Mine did, but they also really enjoyed breakfast with Lilo and Stitch. Stitch :stitch2: juice was their favorite! I'm sorry I'm no help! We love all things Disney so it's hard to choose. What does your daughter want to do? princess:

It is for dinner. She chose BOG, so hopefully she will enjoy it! I am happy to be going back to BOG, but I would like to try 'Ohana dinner one of these days.

We're you there for dinner? I booked a breakfast, first time there. Hoping it is good/fun.

Dinner at Ohana is much better than dinner at BOG. The food is great and it's a really fun atmosphere! We're eating there twice in July :)

It was fun seeing the castle, but we were disappointed with the food at BOG.
