BOG or CRT worth throwing my FP+s out the window?

This will probably be a contentious thread. Sorry!!

But I've got a 90+ window starting at 11:30 that I've got the Reservation Finder trying to snag a reservation for either BOG or CRT reservations for. It's found two BOGs already and I've missed them both. :( One was for 11:30 which would have been perfect. The other was for 12:30 which would have meant dumping my Enchanted Tales with Belle FP and otherwise re-jiggering the day. If a later one shows up, like 1:30, I'd probably have to dump with my ETB and the PPF FP I have for 2:30.

So, the question is, is it worth it?

Now, I know the answer is subjective on the value of both the restaurant experience and the two attractions. But, presuming that both ETB and PPF are attractions we don't want to miss, despite what you might feel about them, and with me and my 5 yo DD never having been to BOG or CRT, what would you do?

Personally I'd book CRT over any ride in MK but that's only because my daughter thinks it's so cool to be in the castle and to meet the princesses that way. Have you thought about asking your 5 year old about it or is this a surprise? If it's not any kind of surprise I'd ask her about the idea of eating in the castle or BOG and then make your decision from her excitement level. Even if you book BOG and/or CRT there's also a chance other FPs will come up all the way up to the day of your MK trip.

The whole trip is a surprise. At first she's just going to think we're going on a trip. We'll be staying at a nearby timeshare for a while beforehand. And then the day before Disney starts, we're going to take her to the Bon Voyage Breakfast at the Boardwalk resort and after she sees Rapunzel, I'll tell her. :)

If something comes up, snag it, and then see if you can re-schedule your FP+. Enchanted Tales shouldn't be too hard to reschedule. PP less so. If you pre-order, BOG lunch doesn't take that long. CRT, yes, you would definitely need 90 minutes.

All personal opinion - I'm not necessarily right, no one else is necessarily wrong....

NO. Neither of these are serious Restaurants. BOTH are great places to take a child. Young daughter? Sacrifice food quality for a smiling child :).
Your reward is that wonderful child, with a huge grin :).
