BoG on MNSSHP night

so we booked BoG at 6:30 on our MNSSHP night BUT we also are doing the dessert party. So that means we will be eating 6:30-7:30 and then have to go over at 8:15 for the parade. That only leaves us time to meet like 1-2 characters. We can ride rides from 4-6. So should we do Chef Mickeys at 2:25 instead or Crustal palace at 5:5:5

Skip BOG, especially since you are doing the Dessert Party.

Since you mentioned meeting characters, party goers start lining up to meet rare characters long before 7 PM so eat earlier and you'll have time to meet more than 1 or 2 characters.

I would not waste time at a restaurant during the party. We did BOG for dinner on our mvmcp night last Nov, but made sure it was an earlier ADR at 4:30pm. There is so much to do at the party, to be stuck in a restaurant and then at a dessert party. I would do an earlier dinner, where you'd be finished before 7pm or do something like a quick service for dinner and enjoy the dessert party.

Echoing what everyone else says. Eat an early dinner anytime before 5 and don't waste your party time!
Here's a tip on meeting character we learned for the MVMCP: if it rains or even drizzles, don't waste your time on characters.
We were in a line for Peter Pan when he went on his break and was supposed to come back in 30 minutes. It was drizzling at the time and 1 1/2 hour later, he still had not shown up.
The seven dwarves never came back either and people were fuming!
While waiting for the fireworks, a CM (who helped us find excellent seats for the young ones) told us that if it's raining, characters do not have to come out if they have to walk through the outside to get to their locations.
