BOG on 12/6

Just curious if anyone actually has or was able to make a reservation for BOG on 12/6. I thought that was originally an open date, but recently have heard that BOG may be closed that day. Just wondering!

Disney has announced that BOG will be closed to guests on 12/6. The rest of Fantasyland will be open - just not the restaurant.

I am just curious as to why? Does anybody know? Special event or are they just expecting mass chaos.

They didn't say, but my money is on media or private event.
