I am planning on booking BOG for our second night we are there next fall....my question is how many people were successful booking this early on in their trip??? Am I better to try for the end of our trip??

I have a friend who booked a really long vacation to get BOG for the beginning of her trip and she got it and then cancelled the other nights, I feel that this isn't honest but do people on here do that to guarantee the night they want???

We went this year and had no problem getting a reservation but it was when it was first released and no one knew about it, I am worried I wont get it for when we want :(

We leave this weekend, and at the 180 day mark of our 1st day we booked 2 BOG ADR's to give us some flexibility. The 1st ADR we made was for day 2 of or trip (Monday) and the best we could get was a 5:15 dinner (We have since cancelled). The other ADR we got was for day 5 of our trip (Thurs) and we got a 6:25 dinner. Those were the only days we tried to get, and we got both, but 180+1 was way more limited than 180+4. But, the 180+1 ADR was also on an Evening Magic Hour day and the 180+4 ADR we got is on a Xmas Party night, so that may have played into this as well.

I called exactly 180 days out at 6am central, and got a reservation for BOG at the exact day and time I wanted. It was the first reservation I made of our 6 night stay. Good luck!
29 trips to Disney World and counting...next stop POFQ March 2014:love:

thanks. We arrive on a sunday and I really want a reservation on the Monday night! Any other tips would be great!!!

For our trip this past April, I made reservations at my 180+10 mark, right at 6:00 am, and couldn't get a reservation until the 10th night of our trip. Maybe things have slowed down a bit though. :goodvibes

Glad we were able to get one though, we loved this place! ::yes::

I was able to get reservations for our March 2014 trip at the 180 day mark. However, our September and October 2013 trips I wasn't able to get reservations until the week before we left. If you can't get reservations at the 180 days, don't be discouraged. You could also walk up to the podium at BOG to see if there are any openings the night you are in MK. There were a few families ahead of us on our September trip that did that. They had a 20-30 minute wait, but they were still able to get reservations.

I went online at my 180 mark and could not get BOG for 180+1, but did get it for 180+4. However, my first choice was 1/1, which I expected to be busy.

I went online at my 180+10 day mark and was able to get a very early dinner (445) on my next to last day. That was the only availability.

May 2013, I had no issues. Woke up somewhat late, had several time slots to choose from between 5 and 6. Due to a hectic work week I missed our 180 mark for next may by 5 days... Yep, no chance of that happening.

For December 2013 though I was on it, up before dawn at 180 days and ready to go. Got nothin, haha. Still hoping to pull it out on a cancellation or day-of since our Parents are coming with this year and that doesn't happen very often. Really want to get them in there...but all the Xmas parties are cutting into available dining times making it a lot less likely.

That is what am afraidof. We loved it this year and it is the one place my kids keep talking about it. I had no problem last October booking when it was first released but now it seems impossible. We are going in sept which is a slower time so hoping that makes a difference.

We were able to get it for the 3rd day of our trip. We like to have early dinners though so we can keep our kids on the same schedule so that might help with the availability for us.

I got my BOG ressie today for dinner. Not in the day I wanted but it's workable. I feel like a rock star!
