I am telling you, I will be so upset if they can't just add my cc# to my ressie and I loose it. I even booked a couple of ressies for others.

That's really ridiculous that the responsibility is on ME to fix Disney's mistake. They should call me using the number I gave them and ask for my card.
Not all places require a CC#. Only places that have a penalty for no shows.
LOL - I feel bad for even asking this but . . .
Assuming a lot of reservations get cancelled at 12:01 am . . . can I call the automated system at 12:02 am and try to make one? If I do, would I then have until the end of the day to get a live person to add my CC?????
I got locked out of my entire week due to the time change to 7am so will try anything now!!!
I made my with the automated and they did not ask for my cc#. I can't imagine that Disney would open a new restaurant, have people be on the phone for hours, use the automated and then decide to cancel the reservations made by all the people who used the automated system because they didn't use a credit card. It just doens't make sense. I have pulled my reservations up online and they are all showing up.
Definitely irritated. Although the Disney music while I'm on hold is helping a tiny bit. It's hard to stay mad when you are humming along to the Pirates song.
I've spoken with Disney and they've confirmed that ALL reservations that don't have a CC to support them will be flushed at 12:01 tonight. She also said that there were numerous "phantom bookings," where people who used the automated system and didn't secure with their credit cards were issued confirmation numbers for reservations, but because the reservation wasn't secured with a CC, it still showed as available in the system and others would have been able to book it. This is why so many people were able to get reservations using the automated system after agents were already saying that the days were booked.
In the event of a conflict, completed reservations with CC numbers are defaulted as the actual, real reservation, and the ones without the CC's are flushed. That first round of flushing has already occurred and you can see all over Facebook where people have called to attach CC's to reservations that are already long gone. That's why, for some, it's not a simple matter of attaching a CC to a reservation and they're having to rebook.
Bad news for those folks who didn't attach a CC, good news for the folks who didn't get reservations today. Another shot tomorrow for them.
Bad news guys...
I called to attach my CC# to my ADR that I made with the automated reservation system earlier this morning.
The CM on the phone had to literally re-book my ADR and cancel the original one. I was lucky in that my date/time was still available.
However, if you have an ADR for BOG during a very desirable time, I recommend you call back immediately. I was given the very distinct impression that if your automatic ADR without a Credit Card doesn't have a comparable date/time available, that you might be out of luck.
