BoG Lunch without reservations

I feel like I should know this, but I don't. Can you go to BoG for lunch without reservations? I know they are recommended but are they required? We didn't decide to go until FD was announced and there is nothing for the week we are going (9/17 - 9/24). It is my favorite place to eat. Am I just out of luck?

No.

Realistically, yes. Reservations are required at any restaurant that take them. They don't hold tables for walk-ups, and at BOG they won't let you over the bridge without one 99% of the time. It is rare to walk up, especially if there are no bookings available. It means they are full.

Means they're full.

I suggest watching for cancels as people change their plans. Don't count on being able to walk up, because it doesn't happen often.

Keep checking online for cancellations because people will cancel when their plans change to avoid the $10 per person penalty. You can also subscribe to the September cancellation thread at the top of this board.
