Sunday we had lunch at BOG for the first time. Ate dinner there in 2013 and enjoyed it. Our ADR was at 11:45a. We arrived at podium right at 11:45 and were waved in. I had ordered in advance, but our order didnt seem to be there. No worries. Ordered again in the touch screen (no waiting) and went to find a table.

Ended up in the Rose Gallery, which was nice and cool after a warm morning in MK. Our food arrived within minutes. DH ordered the roast beef sandwich, which he said was awesome. DD ordered kids Turkey sandwich and DS ordered grilled cheese with tomato soup. I had the Turkey sandwich with fries. Kids meals were great. My turkey sandwich was one of the better meals I had all week. The arugula made the dish, as did the warm baguette and the dijon Mayo was the perfect complement.

All in all we would do BOG lunch in a heartbeat. We had several disappointing meals this trip and this was a treat. It was a really nice break from typical theme park fare.

we have a lunch ressie too coming up ...and I looked at the menu and thought that I would get the roast beef sandwich too....I then thought I would get the potato leek soup and hubby could get that sandwich and I would take a bite out of it ..and eat some of his fries of course...I dont know if I could eat the whole sandwich..how big was it...thanks for your review

I am really excited about this. We have a dinner reissue here

I've been to BOG for lunch about 4 times now. The food isn't over the top, but I love the service and ambiance so much that I just have to keep coming back! I'd love to try the dinner at some point, but I haven't been lucky with reservations - even way in advance. This time around I'll be trying to breakfast there. Can't wait!

We'll be eating there for the first time on the 10th and looking forward to it. Thanks for sharing a review!

Do you still receive FP+ email for lunch about 45 days out?
No. You make a reservation 180 days out. We ate there on Wednesday. Not impressed. It's all hype. The kids grilled cheese is not a real grilled cheese. It is toasted bread with cheese. No buttery Browning that comes from a skillet or sandwich press--revolting. The kids fish was bland and overdone. My quiche was good and the salad was very fresh. The environment is cool but ambiance would not bring me back. It's very loud and busy so dining in a castle is lost on me. Give me Columbia Harbor House or The Plaza any day. We won't be back.

We have also really enjoyed the BOG lunch. DH made sure we were planning a lunch there during our fall trip. We have had the roast beef sandwich both times and it was so good.

Never knew there were different rooms as we ate there for a lunch in March. We were seated in the big room as you walk in and although the food was good, the atmosphere was very " unDisney" we thought. Seated tightly in a mass of kayos, with nothing really to focus on but a big room of noisy people. Would do it again, but look for another room.!

Great review! How do you place your order in advance?
Once you have the ADR, when you pull it up in MDE it will have a place to click to preorder. This didn't work for us. I placed it and was able to view it later, but it didn't come up when I tapped my MB at the restaurant. In the end I was glad because two of us ended up wanting something different than what we originally ordered, though I'm sure switching even if preordering had worked would have been ok.

We have had lunch there a few times. Every time I have ordered either the Braised Pork or the Roast Beef Sandwich. The are both fabulous!!! I also get the French Onion Soup, which is really delicious too! We also have had dinner there and I love love the Salmon! I have had that twice. I also have had the Lamb Chops and they were very good too. The portion was on the smaller side for the Lamb Chops, but with my appetizer and dessert it was perfect for me. I really enjoy the food a lot here! Of course the atmosphere is what is amazing, but so is the food imo.

We have a lunch ADR there on the 22. We placed our order too. Can't wait. This was my compromise as we couldn't get a dinner reservation starting in Jan. Thanks for all the different reviews.:teleport:

Thank you for the review. We have ADR for lunch in early July. It will be our first time trying BOG and it helps to read a good review. Can't wait!
