BOG Lunch Reservations

Do you make BOG Lunch reservations through the Disney Dining Link now (with all the other restaurants) and does it still count as counter service? Our last trip was 2014 and back then there was a special link they sent out. Just wondering how this works now. Thanks!

Using the dining reservation page replaced the link they used to send out.

Yes, ADRs are through the normal website.
Yes, lunch is counter service. It is the only counter service breakfast/lunch at WDW that requires an ADR.

starting at 30 days prior you'll see a preorder button to the right of your BOG ADR in MDE.
no its not required but it does make life easier when you do because you'll avoid the ordering line.

Not required but I highly recommend preordering. The line for the kiosks to order has been very long every time we've been. And those with preorders have gone right into the castle and bypassed that line. It's very much worth it.
