Hi, I have looked and can't find the answer to this, It appears that BOG breakfast and Lunch is Quick service. Do we need a ADR for that or are we able to walk in for lunch. Thanks in advance for any help, it has been a long time since we have been to WDW and things sure have changed! :confused3

BOG is still extremely popular for breakfast, lunch and dinner and If you want to eat there you really need an ADR. I have heard that some people have been able to walk up and get in but that is very rare. Cheers and good luck!!!

I would strongly recommend getting an ADR at 180 days or as soon as you can. It fills up months in advance, even for lunch.

I just now realized how quickly the ADR's fill up. I guess my strategy is to keep checking back frequently although I am not finding much anywhere for a party of 7. It is a bit frustrating.

Keep checking online because cancellations re-enter the reservation system almost immediately so it is a matter of being online checking when the cancellation appears.

With a party of 7 it gets harder because there are fewer large tables in the restaurants. You can also try for a party of 8 because the reservation system has a glitch that gives even numbers the edge. If you find a res for 8, as long as at least one person shows up for the reservation, you will not be charged for the missing person. Do not, however look for a reservation for fewer than your party - everyone needs to be included, even the youngest infant or non-eaters because of the fire code.

You can also split up your party and look for two reservations (e.g. 4 & 3) for the same time. When you check in you can request to be seated together, but there is no guarantee because you are booked for 2 smaller tables so this would work only if you are willing to be seated separately. As much as possible CMs will seat you together or near each other.

You can also subscribe to the cancellation thread for your month, but be sure to read the rules in the first post:

ADR's are strongly recommended for breakfast and lunch even thought its quick service.

however you can line up and be a walk in but you'll be waiting a while.
i went for lunch for the 5th time last month and it was my first time with an ADR and i walked past all the people waiting and was happy i made an ADR. the 4 previous times that i went i lined up at 10am for the 10:30am opening which was prior to breakfast being introduced and each time the wait was worth it but i rather not have to wait if i can help it.
