BOG lunch preorder

I like the idea of preorder. What if I order desert with my lunch and then end up too full? Will they box up cupcakes? We are going back to the resort for a break right after lunch.

I've never seen them box up anything. Just bring your own ziplock container if you think you want to take your dessert to go.

I don't know for sure but I would think that they could. Even though it is QS at lunch and you don't have a dedicated server, there are CMs in the dining room to help you if you need something. My daughter wanted some mayo for her sandwich and someone was available to go in the kitchen to get some for her. I would think they could get you a to-go container if you asked. Also, when you preorder, you still have to confirm your order when you arrive and you can make changes. You could check with that person to see if a to-go box will be available and remove the cupcake from the order if needed.

I remember getting a to go box several years ago at lunch there - I assume they still have them if you ask. As PP said you confirm your order when you arrive and can edit as needed

Yes, I think the link doesn't show up until 30 days before.

Whether you preorder (I highly recommend) or order at the kiosk you're gonna have to make the decision about dessert before you start eating anything.
Its a QS location so you're not going to have a server asking if you want to dessert.
But its a bit different in that you can't just walk back up to the counter and order more.
I've never seen a to go container there but I'm sure you could bring in a container if you really don't think you're going to finish dessert.
BTw preorder can be done up to 30 days prior to the ADR.

The lunch portion aren’t super huge at BOG. The server will drop off your food. You could ask for a box then. They aren’t going to come check how is everything like they would at a TS restaurant.

Don’t know if OP is on dining plan but remember they got rid of the dessert portion on QS credit and added another snack credit a couple of years ago. So the cupcake will be a snack credit in addition to QS credit for entree and drink.

Last year they had to-go boxes under the counter by the soda. You had to ask for them.

One year I couldn't decide which cupcake I wanted so I brought a container to bring the one I didn't eat with me. LOL

The cups for fountain beverages and coffee are just sitting out by the machine. Maybe you could fit a cupcake in one of those if no boxes are available.
