BOG lunch pre ordering

I finally was able to get reservations for BOG in November,Question is it really necessary to pre order from the menu or can you order like normal ?? who knows what we'll want for lunch

You can order when you get to the restaurant. Pre-ordering speeds the process up quite a bit.

Also remember you can order until 5 minutes before you check in (I think). Just do the preorder while you are waiting in line for the last ride before your lunch. Then you don't feel like you have to decide too early, but you don't have to wait the extra time to order at the restaurant.

You can always pre-order then make changes when you arrive, if needed.

We had pre-ordered, but due to one in our party not feeling the greatest on the day of BOG lunch, she changed her pre-order to something lighter.

Definitely pre-order as you can change it, per the above responses. When we went in June, there was a HUGE line on the right side of the bridge and when I asked what it was, I was told it was people who didn't pre-order.

Yes, definitely preorder!
We had lunch at BOG today.
The ordering line for the kiosk at noon today was past the bridge.
It looked like the standby line from the past.

Sorry to hijack, but how do you pay if you pre-order? We're a party of 7 and need to pay with 2 QS plans of 3 adults each and then pay out of pocket for 1 person. Can they do that? Thanks!

Only for dinner when it's a table service. Breakfast and lunch are quick service, so you either pre-order online or order at a kiosk once you get to the restaurant.

When you pre-order, after you check in, instead of being directed to the kiosks (which are to the right), you're directed straight ahead to some cashiers. They'll verify that you don't want to make any changes to your order and then you pay them.

We only pre-ordered the night before, so we were pretty definite in what we wanted. You don't HAVE to order 30 days in advance, and you can always make changes before you pay. I'm not sure why anyone wouldn't want to pre-order. It saves so much time.
