Hello all -

On December 20th, I have a reservation for BOG at 6:20. I have a FASTPASS+ for Holiday Wishes afterward. I want to see the Celebrate the Magic show as well. So, a couple questions:

1. If I show up at BOG at 5:50 or so - since I have a reservation and am not a walkup - will they put me in line then, or will I have to wait until 6:20?

2. How long will a normal meal there take? We have 3 kids, but won't be getting 3 courses. Maybe entree/dessert. If we get there at 6:00, could we make our Wishes Fastpass at 7:35?

Thanks!

BoG is VERY strict about checking in for an ADR. They will only let you check in 5 minutes prior to your ADR - we tried to check in about 15 minutes early last week and said we'd wait and were told very specifically that we could wait but that we couldn't check in until 5 minutes before our ADR time. So, get there at 6:15 and expect to be sat as early as 6:20 or as late as 6:30.

I ate dinner last night in 45 minutes - I had wine, an entree and dessert. I also did not take any pictures of the building, nor did I wait in line to greet the Beast (his line was at least a dozen people long at that point).

I would say you could probably make that FP+ time IF - you get sat RIGHT at 6:20 p.m. (again, they won't seat you earlier), you already know what you're going to order the moment you sit down and you don't wait in line for the Beast or explore the castle.

I would also suggest knowing what you want to order when you arrive, and asking for the check as soon as you are sure you won't be adding anything else.

It's a little tighter than I would prefer, but worth a try if you can't get anything earlier.

Don't skip photos with the Beast though. The move the line along pretty quickly. And it's the only place you can meet him.

Thanks for your help and answer. Not a very rosy picture for my chances! Although, you say you ate there in 45 minutes recently, so that gives me hope. I will make sure we are ready to order when sitting down, and we'll just have them bring the desserts for the kids with the meal.

Maybe what we should do is just order dessert, and then go meet the Beast. My kids would much rather do that.... hmm
