BOG FP+ Didn't Work!!

All I'm saying is that I'm glad that Disney is watching this. Everybody prepays for CRT due to someone "cheating the system" by selling reservations. It just appears that there are people who look for any loophole to gain an advantage over everyone else.

looks like there will be alot more people "cheating the system" as you put it

I've cheated the system, I knew from the Dis to take a screen shot of the BOG FP+ confirmation just in case. I had no issues so never needed it. Thanks Dis for the valuable information. :thumbsup2

The gig is up.... all the keeners will now know (other than informed Disers). WDW Prepschool first shared the secret now WDW Magic.

I had the same thing happen to us in October. Had confirmation of my reservation/order/etc. Couldn't find my name at checkin. When we went inside we were directed to the left where a person was there to take our orders since it was assumed they were lost. Scan my magic band and boom, my order was there just as I had pre-ordered.

Seems to be a missing link between the order system and the reservation system for the ADR testing.

I used it back in October, a PP on this thread called it cheating.Disney had to have know for the last 6 months that way more people were using the FP+ than were being invited and chose to do nothing about it. :)

Completely agree Disney knows about it based on the number of actual # of invitations sent and # of FP+ participants. I'm just happy it worked for me during the busiest week of the year. :rolleyes1

I'm so sorry that it didn't work for you. Someone gave me the link and I didn't know that it wasn't for everyone but luckily it worked out for us and they had our reservation. If they didn't want everyone to be able to use it, they should send out each link with a PIN or something like they do for special email offers.

They ask for your MagicBand number anyway, so I'm sure there's a way they could cross-check the MB#s with those of "invited" guests, if it's truly supposed to be "invitation only". I just don't get why they would let "unauthorized" reservation #s through to book a FP when they could fairly easily return a "that reservation is not authorized to book BOG FP" page. :confused3

This may is our first time going to WDW, so I have no idea how to do anything, but I had seen a thread on here about bog fp± available for may so I booked a lunch for my daughters bday on the 15th. I used the beourguest website and got orders and everything, I have my reservation linked through the main WDW website. I can view my order and all that, but theres no confirmation#. Is our bog reservation invalid because I didn't receive an email invitation? I'd like to know before I waste our time just to be turned away.

We used the link for our trip the second week of March and it worked fine. When we checked in, they had our reservation. Our pre-ordered picks, however, did not show up when we went to pay, but it only took a minute or two to put them back in. Having said that, I wasn't at all impressed with the lunch food and prefer dinner much more!

I used the "back door" link here and made my reservation, but I did get an invite. I had no problems, but I did have a screen shot of the final screen just in case.
